TJ's Park
Amazing Property
Tanya, Jamie and staff are the most helpful and welcoming people I have ever met. I took my daughter in my motorhome to TJ's over Easter for my first ever Hipcamping adventure and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is beautiful with so much to explore. I would thoroughly recommend TJ's and I can't wait to go back. Jenny Gray

Great spot!
We only got to stay for one night but can definitely see us coming back.
Camp sites are nicely separated from each other so you get a nice sense of privacy.
The creek was really low but the area that has been dammed was deep enough and perfect for an afternoon dip.
We took our small dog with us and he was fine however, just be aware that it is a bush property and we saw quite a lot of good size goannas- one in particular seemed very fascinated by our camp but didn't give us any dramas.
Eating breakfast with the cows this morning was a very well received treat!
We saw some reviews about the road coming in to the property and can appreciate that if you are towing a caravan or camper, the erosion mounds may be a little difficult but our setup is all contained in our car (Subaru outback) and we made it down and through the property without any issues at all.
The roads, at this point in time are all well maintained and it's well sign posted.

Stevo
Beautiful property, stayed by the river with a good distance to other campers, camp fires and the all but silence of nature. As others have said, it's a 4WD park, and it's probably not the place for an Excel or 3.5T caravan, although you'd get one in with the right pilot. I towed a 2T camper trailer in and out without any trouble (with a Landcruiser), and there's a chicken track if required. The pit toilets on the other hand are difficult for even a male to parade the merits of.
Beyond that, if you can make it, it's a great place. The campsites are all separate and beautiful spaces. You can make the place as relaxing or adrenalin racing as your heart desires.

We spent 3 days at TJs and had an awesome time! The hosts are really helpful, met us on arrival.
Our site itself was secluded, stunning surrounds & along the river. Given the time of year & recent weather, the river was low, ie depth ankle deep with some thigh deep pools. We spent some time exploring wandering up the river bed which was walkable, up to a section where Jamie had dammed up an area approx waist deep for swimming & Kayaking.
It was peaceful mostly, some noise from ATV riders and 4WD-ers sporadically throughout the days which was no bother to us.
Regarding the drive in, the directions provided by TJs are accurate, we had no phone reception for the last hour of the trip from Sydney to the camp, and suggest taking Walkie Talkies if possible incase you get stuck, signs up referred to channels 18 & 12 in case you need to contact TJs hosts at all. The day we arrived it had been dry for sometime which meant the rd in was in good condition however do take note that the drive in is not necessarily a 2WD friendly one. We came in with our AWD Car + Fully offroad camper and took it slow ie 10-15km/hour speed. There are very Large water bars to assist with flooding & erosion, rocky and slippery terrain. We encountered no issues however suggest if you are in a smaller vehicle or lowered one to consider if you'd be capable to get in. Host Tanya confirmed the vehicle we had would make it in prior to arrival, suggest reaching out prior to booking to get advice.

Our New Camping Spot
TJ's was awesome!
Close to home, 2ish hours from the Central Coast, and our spot was great, close to the river but not too close, shade, flat ground and private.
The drop toilet was a drop toilet but well maintained.
The showers were HOT and clean! The track in to the property was good, our Forrester loaded down with Baby, a teenager , a Dog and a loaded roof made it in slowly, but easily.
Having a radio would've helped but now we know for next time.
The staff were awesome, very friendly and accommodating.
Only downsize was the GIANT ANTS in our camp ground but it just meant our baby couldn't be put down.
The dam was really nice, the kayaks were a good additive, nice and clean creek water which was fantastic for a rinse off in the heat.
Even though we were next to the road it was cool to see all the 4bs, bikes and the buggies go past.
Definitely will be coming back!!!
