Dalli's Campground - Unpowered
We are a family with 2 young kids stayed at Dalli's camp for 3 nights. Our hosts Steve and Donna were fantastic. Most friendly I've seen any places we have stayed.
The camp site was fantastic. Flat grass patch no dust or mud. Toilets, next level for camping. Always kept clean. The creak next to the camp ground had beautiful cristal clear water. Kids loved it and spend most of the time there. The pizza Owen was the cherry on top to have wood fire pizza while camping.
We had great time there and looking forward to return with friends and family.

We had such a revitalising week camping at Dalli's Campground!
The campsite is very well maintained and the facilities are pristine.
The lack of WiFi and mobile reception was initially something we were hesitant about but it turned out to be a godsend! It was a FANTASTIC way for us to all have a digital detox and truly relax! The kids even said they noticed the benefits and have requested we do it more often!!
A dip in the crystal-clear river was the perfect escape from the summer heat! Picking plums in the orchard was a fun added bonus and a tasty educational treat for the kids! The local wildlife was fascinating and the kids enjoyed naming them!
Steve is a fabulous host! He's warm, friendly, generous and makes you feel genuinely welcome. He's also very easy to reach in the event of any issues (we didn't have a single one, but it was reassuring to know just in case).
The drive into/out of the campground is a bit steep (at least for us city-slickers!), especially if you have a camper trailer, but if you give it enough berries you should be right. 😉
We will definitely be back!

Steve's campground is awesome. Flat land, clear water for swimming, plenty of space to run around, great shower facilities and kitchen. Steve is a super friendly, warm and helpful host. Did a great job introducing the facilities, and fixing our car issue.

Great off grid camping with the bonus of clean flushing toilets and hot showers. Amazing camp kitchen with a pizza oven that Steve gets going for you every night. No phone reception but wifi available at certain times. Perfect setup for families and groups. Will be back for sure!

Great amenities! Loved Dalli’s!
I absolutely loved camping at Steve’s campground.
The grounds are well maintained, the bathroom amenities are fantastic and the cool refreshing creek is great for a dip you take the edge off the summer heat.
Plenty of running water taps and bins placed throughout the grounds and at night, plenty (but not too much) lighting on paths.
I forgot to ask Steve about how to access the 1 hour of free wifi so can’t speak to that.
We’re almost 3 hours from the campground and had no idea where reception for our phones would stopped working. That’s probably the only thing I wish we had notice about but that’s the only improvement we can even think of!!
There’s even a deep kitchen sink with hot water and dishwashing liquid!

The best!
Great spot for welcoming the New Year! Well organised, super clean (more than once a day) toilets and hot showers, peaceful and lots of space. Steve and Co were so friendly, helpful and happy to suggest things to do. The creek was pristine clear, and a lovely way to keep us and the dog cool . The pizza oven was such a fun bonus! And we met the loveliest camping neighbours to boot. Thank you Steve and Donna!

Bush Cabin by the Creek
Amazing place, so glad we booked. The creek is beautiful and the cabin is located just beside it, great to hear it bubbling at night. Steve is quite helpful and has a well stocked campsite, with a kitchen right beside the cabin. We had no problems accessing with a 2WD and the bathrooms were tip top for a campsite. The kids had a ball in the creek, and we would surely like to be back some day.

Beautiful spot, immaculate shower and toilet facilities cleaned several times daily. Lots of open space, nice swimming hole in pretty surroundings. Hosts Steve and Donna are amazing can’t do enough to ensure your stay is perfect. Highly recommended and will be returning

What a camp site !
What a great camp site !
Steve and Debbie where amazing hosts, so lovely and friendly. Popping in every now and then making sure we were okay and had all we need.
Sites are spread out so you aren't crammed in right next to other campers.
Great amenities that steve and debbie clean and re stock daily.
Theres a beautiful creek/river with some good swimming / hang out spots.
Will 100% be back one day.

Dalli's Campground certainly exceed my expectations. Beautiful location, fantastic clean amenities, hospitable and helpful hosts - definitely made my new year's celebrations memorable. The creek nearby was a little cherry on top. Thanks for a great experience :)

Fantastic toilets and showers. Great, shallow swimming spot to cool down. Steve was really fun and knowledgeable about the campground and surrounding areas. Great base for birdwatching (some great spots at Glen Alice cemetery and Glen Davis township). Had a wonderful time!

We absolutely loved the bush cabin by the creek! You can hear the water flowing at night and the cabin was clean and everything you need is on site. Pizza oven is fantastic and the hosts were very helpful.

Amazing bush cabin at Dalli's
The bush cabin was fantastic it had everything you need for your stay with a bonus small fridge in the cabin. The pizza nights were lots of fun and Steve made us very welcome. Lots to see and do around the surrounding area made this a great base to explore from.

Fun and relaxing 1st time camping
We enjoyed the watering hole. Perfect on very hot day. Facilities are great - toilet, shower, communal kitchen and of course the pizza oven! They even have items that you can use while in the camp - pots, plates, camping chairs! The best part is Steve, who looked after us from check in and while we are in the camp. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic cabin in the most beautiful spot with a great host. We had the an amazing weekend, kids swam in the creek and we saw lots of wildlife. Steve was really welcoming, a fountain of local info and even rescued us when we had a flat tyre and fixed for us! The site has everything you could need in the huge outdoor kitchen.

Awesome Camping!
An absolute winner of a campsite! Clean toilets, hot showers and a pizza oven to boot.
As soon as we arrived Steve sorted us with a site which accommodated our mates who were arriving the next day. He even arranged firewood as our servo bought rubbish was no good.
Can't recommend this place more highly. We will be back. Cheers Steve!

Back to basics with nature.
We loved our time at Dalli’s campground. Facilities were great and shower/toilet block very clean.
We stayed in the bush cabin and it was great. Basic and back to nature. Perfect combination. The whole family LOVED the outdoor bath (hot water). Fantastic break away from electronics and time together !

What a great campsite - Steve was incredibly generous and hospitable and the site was big with heaps of facilities. Lots of great hikes near by as well for those that want to use the campsite as a base camp for a long weekend.

Pricey, very DIY but worth a stay.
When we first arrived we were a little unnerved by the place. I think that we were expecting a luxury site given the price tag and various areas looked really ramshackle. However we returned later and grew to love the place over the time we were there. Steve was helpful, the showers were hot and the stream is very beautiful - well worth a swim. I'm still not sure why it would be first choice site given the free sites down the road, but we enjoyed it and would consider it again.

Overall was OK but not coming again
The site itself is fine,hot water in the shower, kitchen has all needed, campground is clean and nice, there is a creek with crystal clear water - great for a "little" swim and refresh on a hot day. And thanks for organising the Easter celebration, kids loved it. Not so great: no mobile coverage, no linen in the caravan, generator turns off around 9pm and turns on after 8am so the fridge, lights and power are non operational. Info on the booking site is incomplete - many things are needed to be discussed over the phone with the owner Steve, who is often unavailable and doesn't respond for hours (but expects instant responses from his guests). Interaction with Steve (owner) was the worse part, check in and check out were terrible and problematic. We checked in around 7pm and had to listen things like "I'd rather give you back your money and send you back" and "Everybody else have already checked in" (not sure what was the problem, as he said that he is available on the campsite around the clock). Check out experience was the same awful - started from "I saw you walking into the caravan in your shoes on", then moving to the pets ("pets allowed" rule transformed into "pets not allowed on furniture", and then transformed into "pets are only allowed outside") and other things - to stop that discussion we offered him to pay any amount of money for any damage that he found. No damage was found, but we were asked to leave in 10 mins. Overall our experience was OK but won't come again

Beautiful campsite with incredible bird life and amazing creek nearby. Highly recommend! Steve is great, always wanting to make sure everyone is comfortable - just be sure to follow his rules!
