Artisans Park is a farm set on top of a mountain which is sometimes windy sometimes snowing and being a farm we have animals and spiders and everything that nature includes note we can not control the weather or nature, there are no local coffee shops, we are not connected to the electricity. This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

Stay in a 1949 London double decker bus located within Artisans Park.  Please note his bus is suitable for a couple or small family and is off grid without any fancy appliances. eg. TV or coffee machine ect. It does have lights and hot water along with phone reception.  Set high overlooking the back of the Blue Mountains is one of Australia's most unique farm stays - a genuine red 1949 London double decker bus.  Artisans Park is just a three hour drive from Sydney over the Blue Mountains and, at 1000 metres, experiences winter snow and mild summers.  The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views.  Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. Around the bus is a large stage, playground, bus stop, traffic lights and sculpture.... Located at the entrance of Artisans Park, this restored 1940-1946 WW2 Army Communication Tower is a unique experience. Easy 2WD all weather access. Please note that your stay is off grid and has lights no power points there are no fancy appliances like TV or coffee machine. There is phone reception. The Tower has one double bed and one single bunk above it which is suitable for a child who can climb. The top floor is heated by pot belly wood heater. This is a compact stay. The kitchen has a cook top downstairs along with outdoor tables. It's a short walk to flushing toilets and shower, similar to shared amenities in a caravan park. No pets please.

Stay in a restored 1885 Trig Station Hut located at the entrance of Artisans Park its like steeping back in time. The 1885 hut is basic however it does have lighting but no power-points. My bus-obsessed toddler and I stayed for two nights and loved it. A beautiful sunset spot up behind the bus at the Trig Point, not far to drive to the Turon River for a swim. We'll definitely be back.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Glenn is a super cool guy giving us the most wonderful experience and hospitality. His works around the property are amazing. The views are mind blowing. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for something unique for your family and friends.

What a peaceful experience we had at this quirky retreat. Our family reveled in the serenity. Well equiped - really like camping on a bus. Watching the full moon rise over the mountains was magic. Basic but all we needed.

We loved our stay at Glenn's London Bus. Our kiddo is already planning a return trip. We couldn't believe how well equipped the bus was for cooking but the star of the show were the literal stars. We cannot believe how stunning the view of the stars and galaxies and late rising moon were during our stay. Absolutely incredible. AND Glenn was such a gracious host. Hoping to be back some day.

Incredible view from this fantastically hand-restored bus. Details to discover all around (swings, traffic lights..) - we had a lovely time exploring all Glenn's handiwork. Glenn was extremely helpful and welcoming and generous with his time.

I had the most incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The view alone was worth the trip – the kind that makes you stop in your tracks and just breathe it all in. Sunrise, sunset, even the quiet moments in between… every angle felt like a postcard. Our host was absolutely outstanding. Warm, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about making our stay perfect. Every little detail was considered, and their recommendations made the experience even better. And the activities were unforgettable. Whether we were exploring, relaxing, or trying something new, there was always something exciting to do. It felt like the perfect balance of adventure and ease. Fabulous old London bus...very comfortable with fireplace inside and out. Magnificent view over the valley.....laying watching the stars through the windows at night. Glenn's creative sculptures around the place. Glenn was so helpful in many ways and great to deal with

We were thrilled to see all the historical building that been preserved by Glenn at his land. We get to see all the buildings and all the other art work done to his land. We recommend anyone who likes to have a nice outing to come here and relax.

I stayed at the tower with my daughter.It was really beautiful n cosy with the fireplace.Nice books , very clean and amazing views.We went for a tour around the area .Had a great time,will definitely come back.Highly recommended

My partner and I stayed in the WWII Army Communication Tower in the park and loved it! The views were outstanding and we were met with unbelievable sunset and sunrise. The tiny home was very tidy, filled with interesting books and other stuff, and the walk around the property is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Artisans Lark Is a weird and wonderful destination. Kangaroos as far as the eye can see. The host is accomodating and always happy to give tips for day trips and sightseeing opportunities.

Unique Stay, views & amazing host!
1885 Trig Station Hut
We had an incredible time at Glenn's Hipcamp. The drive was scenic, though a bit bumpy in spots, but the mountain-top views were breath-taking—especially at sunset. Our site felt private, despite being near the public bathroom, and Glenn was an absolute highlight of our stay. His passion for the park and his art shines through in every detail. He’s super welcoming, full of great stories, and went above and beyond—like setting up our gas heater so the space was warm when we returned from a day trip. The park itself is a creative wonderland with restored cars, sculptures, and even a lake for paddling. It’s a great escape from screens, and Bathurst is nearby for a fun day trip before returning to watch the stars. Highly recommend for a one-of-a-kind experience!

It was amazing accomodation, Glen was also so helpful and friendly. My battery on my car died and glen kindly drove down the road to get me some jumpleads. I would strongly recommend staying here. Also Glen recommended some local attractions that I would not have known about if he didn’t stay here thanks so much 😀

Amazing views of the wilderness of Turondale with the added benefit of art sculptures and lake with paddle boats!! Loads of accommodation, we stayed in WW11 tower - perfect for school holidays & entertaining teenagers. BBQ options, great shower / bathroom options. Peaceful & special sunsets.

We stayed in the Trig hut as a treat(we usually camp so the hut was a luxury ). Really cosy fire, all you need for cooking and bonus hot shower and toilet. We loved it.

Spectacular views and accomm

Watching the sunrise over the beautiful valley surrounding the London Bus in the morning and then the sunset from the short Trigpoint walk at the top of the hill on the same day was already enough to make this the most beautiful hipcamp site I've experienced. The kids *loved* being able to sleep on the London Bus (it was a suprise!) and on top of all that, enjoyed the paddleboats on Glenn's dam and exploring the other displays within Artisans Park. Glenn was an excellent host, being friendly and helpful in accommodating us and telling us about the property as well as helping us with some kindling which we'd forgotten for our firewood. It was a beautiful two nights.

That place is amazing, it's so peaceful it's worth it if you're looking for something to relax, it has beautiful views, the sunrise, the sunset and seeing the stars were the most beautiful things we enjoyed during our stay, the accommodation on the bus is very very comfortable and clean. We really just wanted to relax and it exceeded our expectations, and Glenn, is a very friendly host, was attentive and responded quickly. We definitely recommends it and would go again. 💕
