Ahhh, hear that? No? Good. That sound is the peace and quiet you’ll find at Lake Sylvia State Park. If you did hear something, that’s ok too! Take the voices in your head along for an outing to this 233 acre park; we promise you’ll all find something to do there. Whether you’re by yourself or with a group, the rustic charm of Lake Sylvia has a lot to offer. Swim sweetly in the lake or snag some freshwater fish for dinner on the shore or from your boat. Halfway between Olympia and Pacific Shore, Lake Sylvia used to be a camp for loggers and you can still check out the old logging gear in displays throughout the park. The raddest by far is the giant wooden ball carved from a single log! Wear your best Paul Bunyan plaid for a more authentic vibe on the parks five miles of hiking trails or jump on your bicycle and hit the road! There’s lots to discover at Lake Sylvia.
