Down by the stream you'll find a fire ring with a cooking grill and outdoor seating. Inside the A frame you're provided with authentic oil lanterns and flashlights, gas cook stove, kitchen ware, food storage cooler and small table and chairs. 14 gallons of potable water is provided with a nearby stream for additional supplies. There is a small corner loo inside the A frame with a flushing RV type toilet and also a comfortable Adirondack outhouse with an ecological waste removing system. Although the A frame is unheated, there is a small propane space heater to take off the chill of a cool Adirondack evening. This 5-acre quiet paradise is surrounded by on site walking trails where the only sounds are the owls and an occasional airplane. Moreau in New York state features nature hiking and cross country skiing, as well as water activities. People come from Saratoga Springs and Albany to splash in the cool waters of Moreau Lake. The best part is that the park rents out beach umbrellas, lounges and fishing gear. That way, you have more cooler space in your car.

BYOB (bring your own boat) and paddle to one of three small, peaceful lakes. Cast your line to catch dinner for later. More than 20 miles of hiking trails take you through hilly country.
