Carry-in/Carry-out. Very close to the Battenkill River for swimming, fishing, kayaking, tubing, and picnicking. Just 3 miles to town where you can find groceries, local farmer’s market, independent bookstore, antiques, art galleries, diner, brew pub, and donut cart. Great hiking/biking nearby: Adirondacks, Green Mountains, 45 minutes to the Long Trail. One hour or less drive to Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Manchester, VT, Williamstown, MA.

Amazing site for meteor showers

We loved the blackberry campsite! We booked it last minute to see the meteor showers sightings and it was a wonderful time. It was raining on and off and cloudy but the site is so clear of branches that we had a 360 view as the clouds move away and the chance to see some shooting stars. It was my first time camping and the outhouse, shower, and well-looked after paths made it a nice introduction 😇 We will be back again!

Great spot, bathroom and shower/washing station were set up nicely and a decent location to camp. The fireplace set up was perfect and we enjoyed the use of the picnic table and the pavers/platform area. Only complaint is it is closer to the other campground than I originally thought but this wasn't an issue as no one else was camping while we were there :)

We had a fantastic guys weekend at Blackberry. The site was exactly as described, situated uphill from a beautiful farm. The amenities were clean and there was washing water available, and the host and owner were very friendly and welcoming. We had a magical weekend there and definitely plan to return next year!

We really enjoyed this camp site. The host was responsive and accommodating. The site was private with a short walk in the woods accesible at the back of the property. The sunsets were beautiful and there was dry fire wood available on site at a reasonable rate. We also enjoyed the argyle taproom in the village of Cambridge. The only down side was it was a bit of a drive to any longer hiking. But the drive is beautiful and the towns along the way are charming so we didn’t mind.

A very cute place to stay, somewhere between a hip camp and Airbnb. A nice hammock out back and plenty of nice places to sit outside before calling it for the night. Thanks! Would definitely repeat my stay

Great views. Easy access - directions take you straight there. Perfect off grid cabin with all the basics covered - barely needed to contact the host. Great spot for a pet.

Nice private spot with great view of the Western Vermont ridges. Loved the open-air compostable toilet! It was perfect for a warm spring weekend, in the summer it might be a little challenging as there was no tree/shade on this campground.

Really nice place and set up all around . Very beautiful quiet location . Almost had to find better/openness and veiws. Good stuff here. Uneventful to find , no surprises , no weird , not really many /any homes nearby /the sites. The view from sites if 98% rolling layers of mountains and “ almost “ barely a home / building in site 👍🏼, as you look out at miles and miles of view . My guess 20-30 miles in some cases . The me , the attraction was the beauty , simplicity of it all . Definitely do this location again . Also ! It’s right smack in the middle of such an outstanding country area. Really outstanding area/towns/history/places . Host was great !

The location was vey scenic on farm land .The directions made it easy to find. The location is on steep road may need 4 wheel drive .
