Come camp in the woods right off the Perdido River. There is a short walk to the cabin, either along boardwalks or via a trail, and we provide carts to make it easy. Across the floating bridge is a sandbar where you can hang out with other river rats and enjoy a cold one. The Perdido River is known for great tubing and kayaking. We have tubes available to loan. A float from Fillingim’s Landing to our sandbar takes about four hours with stops. If you’re looking for an all-day adventure, you can put in at Barrineau Park Bridge. We are 420-friendly, and if you want to enjoy a beer, we’ll probably join you. There is a large outdoor fire pit and grills available for use. I also have camping hammocks that can be set up for extra guests, as well as a camping toilet. All I ask is that you clean up after yourselves, bring all trash up front to the garbage cans, and keep the volume down by 10:00 p.m.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eddie and Colleen’s place! Super nice and accommodating hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area and all it had to offer. Everything is very convenient. Close to everything, yet very private. The cabin is super cute with all the essentials provide. My husband really LOVED the outside hot shower! If you’re looking for a great glamping experience in the area, this is the place! We’ll definitely be back!

The A-frame was awesome and the perfect glamping spot! It’s tucked away in a private location that gives you the feeling of camping while still having all the comforts you need, including AC, a comfy bed, hot showers, a flushing toilet, a kitchen, and potable water. The location was also perfect for exploring the rivers, springs, and other beautiful natural areas nearby. DD was so kind and welcoming! We were greeted with fresh eggs and strawberry-infused olive oil made right there on the grove. They also have chickens, ducks, and the cutest rescue dog. All of these special touches made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

We absolutely loved our weekend in Cabin 2. The tiny cabin feel was perfect for our family. Our toddler truly enjoyed seeing deer on our morning walks and the river access gave our dog a safe place to cool off. The tree swing was also a big hit for us. Quick drive to Ichetucknee Springs which was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had the pleasure of being the only camper there when I went and the privacy was incredible. His 25 acres include a watershed that creates a beautiful creek. All the property surrounding him is cattle pastures so you do not have to worry about running into any human neighbors. The hermitage cabin was perfect. I mostly spent my time wandering the property but when it was time to sleep the cabin provided me a safe place to stay and the box fan worked all through the night to keep me cool despite the hot, humid Florida evening. Dennis was a lovely host and showed me the features of the property upon check in and helped make sure I had a fire started before he went. I would highly recommend staying on Dennis’s land.

Lo único que no me gustó que el baño lo teníamos un poco alejado y empezó a llover y no tocó comer comida frisada porque la parte de la leña y el carbón estaba afuera y no no tenía techo pero por todo lo demás un sitio súper mega tranquilo los dueños, increíblemente personas educadas y correctas. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Linus, our fur baby, loved the space to run leash free. Our mini-vacation was planned around touring the Marjorie Rawlings homestead and the cottage was a lovely refuge from the thunderstorms to relax and re-read Cross Creek and The Yearling. We were shown around the 7+ acre property, exploring the out buildings, the retro campers, the blueberry patch. We even got 3 freshly laid eggs. The entire adventure was delightful. Jodi

Great place to visit if you are not found of modern life, if you really want to know how to live life with simplicity, you really need to visit this place. Big thanks for Dinesh. It shows how life supposed to be. I am very much found of nature so I really don’t care about facility at all. Where you have nature you don’t need comfort. Just prepare your mind. Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

Our entire family had a wonderful time at Creekside Retreat this weekend. For the children (ages 4, 5, and 8), every moment felt like an adventure. They kayaked together for the first time and loved exploring nature-- watching birds, turtles, and all the wildlife around them. The property seemed designed for our enjoyment: a trampoline, the hammocks, the swings, the magical lights that came on at night, and the safe walking paths where kis could explore on their own. For us parents, it was the perfect escape from the busy city: a peaceful place to disconnect, unwind, and truly enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. John is an exceptional host. He was always available to answer questions, guide us around the property's many beautiful areas, and make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality made our stay effortless and even more enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed and with wonderful family memories. We loved the cottage. Our son made friends with all the cats. It was the most relaxing Saturday night after a day of tubing the Ichetucknee river. We brought some bacon and had it with fresh eggs. The hosts were great to give us space as military combat family this makes the trip way less stressful. We will be back.

I love bowman’s landing! We usually tent camp, but we decided to try out the cabins this time. They exceeded our expectations. Clean, cozy, well equipped with anything you could ever need! My partner and I loved staying here! The site and host both exceeded any expectations. The cabin was clean and the AC worked wonderfully. The river access is super close to the cabin and beautiful. Tracie gave us a ride down to a tube launch and let us use her lanterns and supplies to make our stay more comfortable. It was very nice to be in a secluded spot in nature while also having access to support should we need it! We definitely plan on coming back sometime soon!

10 nights at Perdido River Camping Cabin

I had a great time with me and my animals. I enjoyed being in the cabin and near the river. I didn't have a vehicle and Tracy and Dave offered to bring me to the store and grab gas for the generator. Thank you for such a fun 10 day vacation and I appreciate spending my birthday with Tracy's beautiful family tubing on the river. I'd absolutely stay again.
