At the Cedar's Edge

Once covered by forests of Cedar trees with a few Madrona and evergreens, many were left during clear cutting and nicely spaced providing ample space for campers. A quiet, private, off-road and gated 4 acres blocked from view of the road by tall trees and natural shrubs. Situated on the edge of the Lower Elwha Reservation about 125 feet a above the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Gorgeous mornings, cool, moderate temps typical for the area.

Camp is located in a rural residential area with easy access from the road. Guests have ample room to set up camps with drive-through capabilities. Lets be honest, who likes to back up with a trailer? Lots of space allotted for each site without sitting on top of a neighboring camper.  

Positioned at the edge of rain forest, just a few miles from Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park, Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent and Lake Sutherland, tide pools, surfing, and just walking distance (1 mile) from the Olympic Discovery Trail. 7 miles to catch a Whale Watching tour, the Black Ball Ferry to Victoria, BC, great food in Port Angeles, Sequim, and a short drive to Port Townsend or Forks, WA. We have a small office and fun little retail store that offers brochures on area activities as well as local art, honey, spices, original paintings, greeting cards, soaps, candles and a few essentials to make your visit more comfortable.

We are approximately 20 miles south of the Canadian coastline.  As a result, Canadian cell towers may pick up your cell service with a "Welcome to Canada" message.  A quick call to your carrier will set them straight so you're not charged for international roaming.
