What a beautiful view of the sunset! We weren’t at the site for long but it was just what we needed! Peaceful and clean. And we were given a lovey welcome bag of goodies!

What an amazing spot! Kate greeted us with a welcome kit and we just sat and enjoyed the view of the hillside down to the water. Super peaceful and the perfect spot to stay if you're catching the first ferry out the next day to Vancouver Island. The water and electric hookup helps get you prepared for the next leg of your adventure. What a treat of a stay!

My sister and I loved camping at Kate's place! We arrived late in the evening, and she still came out to greet us, brought us water and snacks, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her property is perfectly located, with stunning views, and we were lucky enough to enjoy both a beautiful sunset and a gorgeous sunrise. I would highly recommend staying at her place if you're in the area!

The Back Porch is on a beautiful, peaceful hill south of Pt. Angeles with a view overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Close to many opportunities for adventure in Olympic National Park. Lots of fun watching birds and the resident deer in the mornings and evenings. Kate is a kind, welcoming hostess and we'd definitely return to this site.

The views were amazing! Weather didn't cooperate for us to use the outside chairs and fire ring, but it looked lovely. She let us borrow the power adapter for out camper too, which was a life saver!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Back Porch! The site was level, clean and felt private and the welcome basket was so nice…there was even a s’mores kit for our kids! We’d recommend to anyone traveling through Port Angeles.

We enjoyed the simplicity and beautiful views that The Back Porch offered us and we look forward to coming back and spending more time enjoying the surrounding areas of Port Angeles and the easy access to the national park and other recreational spots . The location is truly close to everything that surrounds Port Angeles . We arrived a tad later in the evening , but even in the dark we were able to follow their written instructions which also copied our GPS . Kate met us with a welcome bag of goodies , treats for the dog and some fun stickers , which was a great surprise . The location is right along side the end of their house and driveway … but still very private and quiet . We highly recommend this spot . The nightly rate was very competitive too. We own a mid sized class A , 33 ft, and took up most of the pad area . Slightly larger rigs will fit but you may feel a little tight , or close to the homes driveway. Power is a 50 amp plug in and water only , so bring an adapter to down size .. Kate brought one with the goodies in case we needed it , but we were already plugged in . Again we would highly recommend this location .

This is a lovely spot with a host that goes above and beyond. We had two sitting areas and a firepit to use. The cushions and pillows were such a nice touch and the tables were clean and ready to enjoy. She greeted us with a very generous gift bag and an offer to use their adapter to go from 50 to 40 amps. The water view is beautiful. We would happily recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful visit at the Back Porch! The host was very friendly and super accommodating. The space was perfect and very well set up. It had a wonderful view of the Straits and felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back! The location is a great launching place to Hurricane Ridge and all the amazing places in Port Angeles!

A lovely spot super close to ONP. Kate was an absolutely fantastic host and you can tell she really cares about the space and the guests who use it. So many thoughtful touches that were noticed and appreciated. Plus the site offers water, trash, recycling, and 50amp power!

The Back Porch RV Campsite is such a gem! The views are amazing, it’s super spacious, and best of all — no crowded campsites. If you like having room to breathe (and no neighbors right on top of you), this is the spot. The house is nearby, but honestly, we had total privacy and were left to just enjoy the space.
The firepit setup was awesome, and the cute little gift bag was such a sweet surprise. Kate was absolutely delightful — so kind and welcoming! Plus, they even had a 30 amp adapter ready, which was super handy. 10/10 recommend!

Kate's place was fantastic! The property is on a hill with a stunning view of the Salish Sea looking across to Vancouver Island. Kate provides a fire pit, and a lovely gazebo both equipped with comfortable outdoor chairs w/cushions and pillows. There is also a picnic table with umbrella. The whole site is clean, neat and so charming. While the house is close to the site, we did not feel crowded. There is much more room here than at any campground we've been to and Kate was the perfect hostess. She greeted us on arrival (with a gift bag!!!), checked on us once to make sure we had all we needed and was immediately available when we had a question, otherwise she left us alone. Kate's place is secluded, yet close enough to Pt Angeles and the Olympic Nat'l Park for easy access. We highly recommend the Back Porch and will stay again next time we come to Port Angeles.

The Back Porch is an amazing spot! Wonderful views, close to some of our favorite hiking spots, and plenty of room for our dogs to walk around. Our host was very gracious as well! We forgot a few things, and our host was kind enough to let us borrow some of their camping supplies! We even received a gift bag! I would absolutely return to this spot!
