12 ft pop-up camper · With kids · We stayed here for one night with our GMC truck and a small pop-up camper. While we were able to make it in, I think it's important for other RV and camper owners to know that access is much more challenging than the listing suggests.
The road leading to the campsite is very narrow and essentially a one-lane road with lots of curves. If you were to meet an oncoming vehicle while towing a camper, there are very few places to pull over, and backing up on the winding road would be difficult and potentially unsafe. We were fortunate not to encounter any opposing traffic, but it was definitely something we worried about.
The entrance to our campsite was also extremely narrow. Even with one of the smaller pop-up campers on the market, we barely fit through. The campsite itself was spacious enough, but the ground was quite uneven with several dips and holes, making it difficult to level our camper.
One positive was that the porta-potty near our site was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. The property is large and has a few walking trails, although we found the trails to be only lightly maintained.
One thing to be aware of is that there is an additional guest fee. As a family of five, we paid an extra $21 for our children, which increased the overall cost more than we expected.
Overall, this campground could work as a last-minute backup if you're visiting Olympic National Park and need a place to stay. However, because of the narrow access roads, tight campsite ent
