All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October.
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! - FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums.
Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it.
A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family.
We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so.
We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

Ten Mile River Scout Camps (TMR) is a large wilderness area of over 12,000 acres in the Sullivan County Catskills, New York, encompassing several summer camps (Keowa, Aquehonga, Ranachqua) and a Public Lakeside Camp.
This environment, featuring lakes, meadows, and access to the Delaware River, provides a perfect backdrop for a relaxing outdoor getaway.
Family Camp at Ten Mile River Scout Camps is a unique public campground located on beautiful Lake Nianque. Designed as the scout camp for families, we offer an expansive program for youth and adults seeking a summer camp experience. The facility features secluded cabin sites, many of which are right on the shore. Family Camp is well equipped to provide a refreshing and enjoyable outdoor adventure for the whole family.
Our Lakeside and Family Camp is unique in that the entire family—from toddlers to grandparents—can participate in outdoor activities or spend the day relaxing in the beautiful, secluded forest. Most families return year after year for the fun, camaraderie, and togetherness of Lakeside.
From the last week of June up to the last week of August, we have a Camp staff to run daily programs suitable for all ages and provide access to program areas with experiences like handicraft and guided waterfront activities and even nighttime campfire programs!
Looking for a more private event, family reunion, or a couple’s romantic woodland experience? Our Schiff cabins are ideally located in a small area away from the bustle and excitement of Summer Camp programming but with access to the same fun all summer!
Read a book, relax, and meet new friends. Join in evening programs—from potluck dinners and movies to karaoke and campfires—it’s always fun for the whole family.
A great waterfront, supervised by a certified lifeguard, awaits you. Enjoy a refreshing swim or use the rowboats, canoes, kayaks, and sailboats. Go fishing and try to catch the “BIG ONE.”
Beyond the waterfront, there are mountain bikes available for your use, a craft lodge, the Red Dot Trail for hikes, volleyball, and horseshoes.

Inside, the open layout features a vaulted great room with a freestanding stone fireplace at its center. Settle onto the comfortable couches for a cozy evening, roast s’mores, or set the vibe with the 55" smart TV and sound system. The well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and a large dining table, perfect for family meals and game nights.
Up the cantilevered staircase, you’ll find three bedrooms (K, Q, Q), a nook with a queen futon, and a second full bathroom.
Step onto the back deck to relax in the hot tub, sway on the swing, or dine while overlooking the quiet forest. The backyard also offers a fire pit and charcoal grill. Set hundreds of feet from the road for ultimate privacy, you’ll feel immersed in the state forest. Keep an eye out for local wildlife such as deer—and even the occasional black bear.

The area is an outdoor paradise with endless activities. Hike directly from the property, fish or canoe on nearby lakes, ride ATVs, or explore numerous waterfalls. In winter, enjoy skiing at Shawnee or Camelback, plus indoor waterparks.

Andrea was very quick with responding to messages and the directions were very simple. Stone driveway through the field and very nice drive through the woods to get to the cabin. The cabin is very simple but cute. Outdoor sink and shower with solar powered heated water. The water was actually a little on the hot side, which surprised me but there's nothing like showering outdoors with the birds singing and seeing the trees and blue sky! Benches with the stone fire pit, hammock, a few walking paths. She has solar powered lights inside the cabin as well and outdoor light above the deck. They supply wood, but don't forget cash to put in their bucket and your fresh drinking water.
This was my first solo trip as a female and the only thing that made me uncomfortable was there is no locks on the cabin doors.. I had my dog with me. She could have very easily nudge the one door handle open and gotten out, and I know I'm not the only one that would have the fear of someone or even a bear coming in through the night with that back door.
Saying that, I had a great relaxing time with my dog and I definitely want to go back.

We stayed for two nights at Katharina’s cabin with three adults and three kids under 5 and had a fantastic time. The cabin is very comfortable and wonderfully rustic. We loved hiking along the creek in the back and roasting smores over the fire.

This was an amazing getaway. My boyfriend and I didn’t leave this place all weekend. The private dock has all you need for a fun day and making some great meals on the grill were a plus! It was private, relaxing and very cozy! We recommend this place 10/10!

This was a wonderful spot! This is the first site you arrive at when you drive into the campground after passing the lovely pond, so it's very easy to find! Still very quiet and serene, though. We were amazed by the comfortable and spacious cabin, and that it had a mini fridge, microwave, and space heaters. Dresser and lamp are very homey, and the cute circular table with chairs was perfect for games and tea. The bench and hooks along the entryway inside were great for storing essentials and getting ready for the day. Cute porch area! Lovely windows look out towards the picnic table and stream across the camp road. Waterfall view as you walk outside! The portapotty was serviced right as we arrived, so it was very pleasant. We did see a black bear a couple time in the far distance behind the cabin, in the woods.
We had reserved this cabin, the Waterfall Cabin, and Tent Site #1 all together for 30th birthday weekend, and that was perfect for feeling like a village yet all spaced out. The Buckhorn Cabin was the perfect central meal and gathering spot amongst the 3 sites.

This cabin has 2 nice chairs on the porch, perfect for gazing at the waterfall! The vibe inside the cabin is more cozy and secluded and cottage-like than the Buckhorn cabin which is a bit brighter, more airy, and bigger. Both cabins have nice rugs in the middle! The Waterfall cabin is so fun to get to across the bridge! The bridge feels very safe. There is a big wheelbarrow cart with bike tires to get your things across the bridge. The portapotty was just serviced as we arrived, so that was very pleasant! It's right on the road side of the footbridge. The distance between this cabin and the Buckhorn cabin is perfect for reserving both cabins together, or being totally secluded due to the footbridge and distance, but you might see each other at the road/ portapotties. The cabin is in its own little world with an overlook clearing by the waterfall, and at least 2 tent sites for Waterfall Cabin folks down by the stream, and even a hiking trail! There is a steep hill going up from behind the cabin which adds to the privacy and secluded feeling. There is a concrete walkway that leads to the waterfall, with a handrail, which is fun as an overlook! Also, as fun activities, I highly recommend Mauch Chunk Lake (which Casey recommended to us!) for beach and kayak rentals! And Lehighton Outdoor Center for bike rentals on the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail. Both about 20 minutes away.

This is an awesome full stocked cabin in the Poconos. Close to fun stuff to do with kids, like Bushkill falls, we had an awesome few days here. We saw tons of deer and even a bear. The host is responsive and informative. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved the Record Room! It was better than we expected. Loved that they made the whole set up with their own hands. We saw so much wildlife. Our 11 year old wanted to stay longer. Our two tiny dogs loved it. The hot tub and shower is a bonus!

This cabin is great! It’s a good size, very cozy, and tucked away in the wilderness. It was well stocked with basic amenities, including snacks, coffee, and firewood. Everything was very well prepared and exceptionally clean. It’s also located right next to several great hiking trails. I would highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway!

Very large property with lots of seclusion. New and modern amenities. Responsive communication. Has everything you need which let us cut down on packing. Plenty of space for outdoor games like the corn hole we brought. Beds are quite comfortable. We did some fly fishing and this property is ideally located for access to several well known trout streams. We had Turkey and Deer as visitors. Perfect for a guys get together weekend and cushy enough to make the girls happy.

2 nights at Waterfall Cabin
A lovely getaway with my partner. The waterfalls are the real highlight — genuinely gorgeous, and the little trail throughout the property is a nice touch.
Fair warning: it’s not as remote as I expected. You can occasionally hear cars, but honestly the sound of the waterfalls does a great job drowning it out. A small tradeoff.
Overall, a wonderful little escape from the city — nothing extraordinary, but a solid, beautiful spot to decompress.
