The site is equipped with motion sensor path lighting around the tent and also the along the path leading from the parking area to the cabin.

Peace is what you will find on our property. We have three wonderful listings on this 2 acres of shady trees, cool, quiet mornings and precious wild life. You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond.
Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch. Some games and puzzles are provided.

This was such a peaceful experience for us! The deck overlooking the river simply can't be beat. We enjoyed the wood stove which Jacob had provided plenty of wood and set it up to be ready to light. The bed upstairs in the loft was VERY comfortable and there was plenty of ventilation with the two windows. Jacob's home was easy to find and he was extremely responsive to us. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was a magical stay. We got there after dark and it was a bit challenging to find at first, but once we did, it was incredible! Banana slugs were EVERYWHERE and the camp felt pretty private despite being close to some houses. In the morning, a wonderful melody of animal sounds helped us greet the day. We will definitely be back in the future!

Weekend Trip to Cedar Bloom
From the moment of driving through the gate you got a sense of peace and calm. The grounds are private and beautiful. The staff was super friendly but seemed to disappear and give you space. The RV and tent sites looked great but the large Bio-Dome can't be missed. I have already recommended them to my friends and family.

Perfect location for exploring some of the most incredible parts of the Redwood National & State Parks, and the campground itself is beautiful in its own right with a little trail that our kids loved (and on which we found a beautiful banana slug). We loved this land! We slept in the big dome and it is a very special place. All the details are thoughtful and useful from the wood stove, to blankets, little burner with kettle and tea.
We would love to come back and have more time here.

We stayed in Black Bear Cabin. For me, the linens on the bed being of great quality and washed in decent detergent was huge. It made the stay.
I also noticed thoughtful details throughout, like log seats around the fire pit. The cute vinyl record player, the walking trails. And the kids liked the mini-golf course as well.

1 night at Steelhead Camp on the Chetco River
We usually camp off grid so knew exactly what to expect when booking this listing. We brought our own power, lights and toilet setup and had no issues.
The drive in was so cool - we saw elk and turkeys and it was absolutely beautiful.
Jess was super quick on communicating and the booking was easy and went smoothly.
We were pleasantly surprised that despite not having power, there were lights available so all we had to do was bring in our power bank!
The fireplace was AWESOME - put out great heat and easy to build/manage a fire.
I wish you could see the river from the deck - but it was neat to walk down to the confluence of the river and the dry creek that backs up to state land.
One thing to note - if you are not booking both sites - the tent/car camp site is on a bluff just above the A-Frame, so you could have someone right above you. We didn't but noticed that on our drive down to the cabin.

Weekend Trip to Redwood Retreat
We loved the treehouse dome!! We spent two nights there. The ground was covered with clover and the cathedral trees were majestic protectors. Even though there were properties close by, we felt we had a lot of privacy. The roosters were loud in the morning, but we loved them! Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Also recommend bringing flashlights, lamps and phone chargers.
Absolutely recommend if you want to disconnect a bit while still having quick access to Crescent City.

Overall very good experience. Little Foot camper well appointed with kitchen items, good efficient small space, comfortable. Campground host very responsive. Mystic Campground is well-situated midway between Prairie Creek and Jedediah Parks.
Camping space a bit tight within the campground. Not quite as secluded as you might think.

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we loved it! We brought our truck with wedge tent thinking two of us would sleep in it and the other two would stay in the dome tent. The kids then saw the A-frame cabins and wanted to sleep in one while my husband and I stayed in the dome tent. So we got to experience both places and they were great! We only stayed one night in March over spring break so would like to come back in the summer to get the full river experience. We used the sauna and had tea in the tea house. Loved how spread out each camping site was regardless of type. Very friendly, welcoming owners who were very communicative and helpful when we booked the A-frame for our kids at the last minute. Very quiet and peaceful property.

Cedar Bloom is such a beautiful peaceful experience with a wonderful array of amenities. My pup and I always love staying here on our road trips. It provides safety, comfort, and easy access to nature. Everyone is kind, considerate, and respectful. Thank you for allowing us access to this oasis!

4 nights at Creekside Cottage in Williams, OR
This cozy little hobbit house was a perfect secluded getaway! Karen and the chickens gave a perfect tour so I could find the firewood, hiking trails, compost toilet, and hot tub. Then I had three days listening to the creek, making fires in the stove because mornings were chilly, staying cozy in the freshly painted and updated space where I could be warm and watch the creeks come together. The trillium were out making the forest extra magical.

This place skewed heavily towards the RV crowd, which made it seem like a ghost town at night. The sites themselves did not have a ton of privacy, but we were in the first site to the left as you enter which was better than most. There is a nice trail down to the river, which would be great for swimming had the weather been warmer, and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Love this campground and have been family camping there for 20 years. The last 3 summers have not been the same. They do not accomidations for large families, which may make alittle noise after dinner. As a matter of fact, we were pretty much harassed by the camp host and then by the Ranger, who hid in the bushes (I SWEAR) and waited for someone to laugh so he could step right back out and "warn" us again. He told us to use library voices!! Wouldn't you laugh? Anyway they used to greet us by name every year and now we get warned. FYI we family camp. With soda.
