Welcome to Windy River Ranch! Escape to a private riverfront retreat designed for quiet, nature-filled getaways. Nestled along over 1,200 feet of pristine river frontage, this peaceful property offers multiple swimming and fishing holes, towering redwoods on the ridge above, and the soothing sound of the river flowing just steps from your tent. Your stay is set in a fully furnished riverfront canvas glamping tent, thoughtfully designed for comfort while keeping you immersed in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Inside you’ll find a cozy queen bed, warm ambient lighting, an electric fireplace heater, and handcrafted rustic touches inspired by the surrounding forest. Step outside to enjoy a peaceful seating area and fire pit overlooking the river. Spend your days floating gentle stretches of water, fishing from the bank, or relaxing in one of the many quiet swimming holes along the property. In the evening, unwind beside the fire while the sound of the river and wind through the redwoods create the perfect backdrop for a slow, relaxing night. Guests also have access to a private privacy tent bathhouse, featuring a hot outdoor-style shower and composting toilet — perfect after a day spent exploring the river. The bathhouse is designed to feel simple, comfortable, and connected to the surrounding landscape. Fresh organic eggs from our chickens and seasonal organic produce from the garden and orchard may be available during your stay. Tubes are provided for floating the river and easy fishing access help make the most of warm summer days. This is a working ranch with livestock and (people friendly) off-leash livestock guardian dogs that belong to the neighbors and guard the perimeter from predators 24/7. Out of respect for livestock and wildlife, please leave your furbabies home.
