The 78-mile stretch of US-101 from Eureka to Crescent City, CA was dubbed “The Redwood Highway” for good reason. The Ramblin’ Redwoods Campground & RV Park is located minutes from Redwood National & State Parks, Redwood National Forest, Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park, Del Norte Coast Redwood State Park, Tolowa Dunes State Park and the wild and scenic Smith River. Great for a cozy getaway to the coast no matter the weather. Quick access to the coast and redwood trails, but without the crowds! Choose from 3 levels of fully furnished cabin accommodations: Fern, Douglas and Redwood.

Redwood Cabins provide a master bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a full-size sofa bed OR a twin daybed & trundle combo and fireplace, plus a full bath with a walk-in shower. Each unit has a large loft with a full size bed to accommodate sleeping for those extra people. All cabins include linens and a fully furnished kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, TV and DVD player. Cable is not provided, but we have an abundance of DVDs for you to check out and enjoy at no additional charge!

I LOVE the Rambling Redwoods!
Fern Cabin
We absolutely loved our stay at Rambling Redwoods! The campground itself is clean & well maintained. It does seem to be geared more toward RVs than tent camping, and since it’s right off the road, tent campers may hear some road noise. That said, I can’t recommend the cabins enough! Ours was incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable, with both heat and A/C. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed, and the view from the cabin was so peaceful. The campground also has some great amenities, including a dog wash station, playground, washers and dryers, and a nice communal yard area with a firepit. There’s also a small store at the office with a surprisingly good variety of food items, cooking essentials, and other supplies you might need during your stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We genuinely loved staying here and would absolutely come back!
