Redwood River Retreat is located at Terwer RV Park in Klamath, California, and is surrounded by the beauty of Northern California’s redwoods. The property blends the peace of nature with the comforts of modern amenities, offering guests a place to relax and explore. The park is just a five minute walk to the Klamath River, where guests can launch a boat, fish, kayak, or simply sit and enjoy the water. Back at the property, evenings are often spent around the fire pits under a sky full of stars, with the sound of the river nearby. Picnic tables and outdoor seating areas make it easy to gather for meals and conversation in a natural setting. Heated showers and restrooms are available on site for added convenience. Wi-Fi access, fresh linens, and other essentials are provided so guests can travel light. Firewood is available for purchase, and help is always close by with on-site assistance and your hosts only a message away. When you are ready to explore, the surrounding area offers unforgettable experiences. Redwood National and State Parks are minutes away, with trails that wind through some of the tallest trees on earth. Trees of Mystery provides a scenic gondola ride with sweeping views of the forest. Crescent City’s beaches and lighthouse are a short drive west, and the Klamath River is right at your doorstep for fishing and paddling. Local dining includes Steelhead Lodge for comfort food on weekends and Forest Café or the Log Cabin Diner for hearty breakfasts. The property is currently being remodeled, which means each stay will only get better as improvements continue. Redwood River Retreat offers the chance to enjoy the simple pleasures of campfires, fresh air, and river life, all while keeping your packing light.Guests have the entire Keystone Passport 221B travel trailer to themselves, along with a private outdoor area that includes a custom fire pit with seating, a hammock under the trees, and a barbecue for cooking outdoors. The space is designed for families and small groups who want room to relax both inside and outside. The trailer itself is fully stocked with linens, towels, a complete kitchen, Roku TV, indoor and outdoor speakers, and an instant hot water system. Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. Heated showers and restrooms are also available within the RV park and are just a short walk away. Activities and amenities are easy to access. The fire pit, hammock, and outdoor games are all set up next to the trailer for private use. A short walk down the road brings you to the boat launch and river access, where you can fish, kayak, or simply enjoy time by the water. For bigger adventures, Redwood National and State Parks and Crescent City’s coastline are both within a short drive.

What a wonderful little oasis, central to so much exploring! Cortney and her family were so accommodating and friendly! Helping us find the best fishing spots, even gifted my husband a lure to use 🥹 The camper seemed brand new! So clean and stocked with everything we could need. Had a few neighbors but not close enough to feel like a normal campground. Spent many hours in the hammock reading or by a campfire. Can’t wait to bring our kids back for another adventure!

The Passport Retreat
The redwoods are my favorite place on earth, and this trip with my son was everything I hoped it would be. We stayed at the campsite recently taken over by Hiram and Cortney, and honestly, this young couple has turned the family business into something special, a place that's actually as beautiful and fun as camping should be, not just on paper. The site sits literally next to the river, it's spotless, and Hiram and Cortney are always around when you need them without ever being in the way. The trailer itself is sharp and comes stocked with every amenity you could want, including a smart TV, which turned out to be the real MVP after a long day of hiking with a toddler. Cartoons at the end of the day saved us more than once. The location is unbeatable too, close to Crescent City, Trees of Mystery, and Prairie Creek, with plenty of breakfast spots in Klamath to fuel up before hitting the trails. They also have firewood available to grab for a small fee, which made evenings by the river even easier. If you work remotely, the WiFi was surprisingly great. And they've got tent sites and RV sites too, with more lodging plans in the works over the next year. Book now, honestly. It's still super affordable for everything they offer, and this place is going to grow fast. We're already planning our next trip back. Thank you for the hospitality, Hiram and Cortney! Maël & West

Easy Access to Redwood Forest

The Passport Retreat
Great location for exploring many of the highlights of Redwood National and State Parks. The camper was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. The only downside is that it's parked quite close to another camper. Fortunately, it was unoccupied during our stay, so it still felt peaceful and fairly private. If the neighboring camper had been occupied, it likely would have felt less secluded. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it as a convenient and comfortable home base for exploring the area.

This was such a fun and cozy place to stay! The trailer had the perfect amount of room for three adults and two pups. All the amenities that we needed were provided to us for our stay. Hiram and Cortney are such great and accommodating hosts, always checking up on us and asking if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this place to anyone for their next redwoods adventure!!!

The Open Range Retreat
We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Redwood National Park, yet peaceful and quiet. The trailer was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were even the very first guests to stay in it, which made it feel extra special. Cortney and Hiram are wonderful hosts—so kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
