The location was great! I was car camping and got to wake up looking through my panoramic sunroof right at redwoods. It was in an off season so the office was closed when I arrived and when I left which sucked. (closed at 3pm) Bathroom was clean.
Only bad thing is because it's off season not much in near by city was closed early.

They are under new owners and doing there best I see so of these reviews my daughter and I stayed August 10 at a tent site and it was just fine bathroom and showers were fine Ian sure they are working on making them nicer but they were just fine and clean and camp sites were also clean and they were nice people so I would stay here again .

Although we stayed only one night, we were thoroughly impressed by this KOA. The staff were helpful and courteous, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the grounds were impeccably kept. The location is excellent for exploring the Giant Redwoods as well as visiting the ocean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Awesome location surrounded by Redwood trees. Stayed in cabin. Cabin was clean. Kids love visiting the goats and chickens. Found dozens of banana slugs around the facility. Playground is pretty rough and needs replacement. Store was empty (apparently they are still getting vendors after change of ownership) showers need updates, some of the shower faucets don't shut off and waste water. Laundry room needs attention only 1 washer and 1 dryer were working. Not much in rec room.

We have been on a long road trip this summer and have stayed at several KOAs. After reading the reviews for this KOA, we almost got an airbnb because the reviews were so bad.
We had such an excellent experience with this KOA, and out of all the KOAs we’ve visited, this one was our favorite. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The facilities were clean. The campground itself was absolutely beautiful. Our experience here was so lovely, and we would happily return.
If you’re on the fence about booking here, just do it. It’s beautiful, clean, easy to get to, and the staff are friendly.

It’s an older KOA that looks like it could use a little work but it’s a fantastic location and has a nice variety of Redwoods to walk through. Located very close to some great Redwood attractions like Stout Grove.
The internet is a little dicey but that’s because they just switched to another internet service and haven’t fully deployed the new service yet. I talked to them about it and expect they’ll have it going soon. Good news was my ATT wireless worked well there.

We loved this park as we could stay amongst the beautiful redwood trees! Gravel sites with lots of shade. Our site was situated kind off oddly, because the hydrant and electrical pole was on the opposite side, but thankfully we had a long enough electric cord and water hose that we could run them under the camper.
There were lots of campers and little cabins here, but they are mostly arranged so that they aren’t too close together.
Lovely park, we’d definitely stay here again.

Loved it here, I stayed one night in my van, had the best vibes.. the trees, ferns, and banana slugs blew my mind. Clean laundry facility (only one washer and dryer functional). The showers were hot and the beers were cold! What more can I say.

I dare you not to be in Awe! [Imported from Google Reviews]
We're new to KOA's and camping with an RV in general and were so surprised to find such a charming place to rest our heads after a long day on the road.
The grounds of this KOA are in the Redwoods, like, amongst them. If you didn't drive any further south, you'd still come away from this stay feeling like you'd gotten up close and personal with the magnificent Giant Sequoias. What a bonus!
This property feels like it's owned and run by folks who love what they do. It would be a full-time job to keep a place like this up, and from what we experienced on a foggy evening in January, the property owners here are present, caring, and ready to serve.
Highly recommend this place for anyone, whether you're RV camping, tent camping, or wanting to experience the darling little cabins sprinkled throughout the property. We saw one couple enjoying their cabin with a hammock stretched in their little yard. What a magical way to spend an evening!

Photos are of my husband on this KOA property. There's SO much to see! Photo of me just outside of Crescent City, again, SO much to see! If the Redwood trees aren't enough, try the Pacific Ocean on for size. I dare you not to be in Awe!
