You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens. The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request. Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. Composting toilet. We have a portable camp toilet in our bathroom as well as a roomy compost toilet building about 100 yards away. (We can't have septic at the cabin because it is literally on Rock Creek)

On leash. Your pets are welcome! Please keep them on a leash when outdoors as we do have wildlife around. And NO PETS IN THE HOT TUB - or up in the loft bed! (I can't believe we now have to say this). Thanks!

I loved my stay here. Karen was a great host, provided a detailed tour and then - true to her word -left me to myself. I felt like I had the forest, creek and hot tub all to myself.

The cabin was perfect! Karen was so delightful and very eager to help us feel at home. The space is small but very comfortable for two people who like ourselves were looking for renewal and rejuvenation. The land is really the attraction and the silence/privacy is so well worth any change in regular living. Highly recommend this special place!

Woodland getaway close to home!
Creekside Cottage
This cozy little hobbit house was a perfect secluded getaway! Karen and the chickens gave a perfect tour so I could find the firewood, hiking trails, compost toilet, and hot tub. Then I had three days listening to the creek, making fires in the stove because mornings were chilly, staying cozy in the freshly painted and updated space where I could be warm and watch the creeks come together. The trillium were out making the forest extra magical.

Romantic Creekside Cabin
Creekside Cottage
This cozy hobbit style cottage allowed us the opportunity to escape wifi and work together and just get away from it all. You can do that here. The whole of the land is especially beautiful with many bubbling rolling creeks and green woodlands. This is a place with great big crayfish, little garter snakes, baby salmon, a few friendly bats, and also blackberry further up the trails. An amazing unique natural place where you feel like you're camping and have the whole campground yourself. My wife and I loved it and plan to to return

We enjoyed our time in this cozy creekside cabin. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive; and the amenities were all as described. We enjoyed this quiet, peaceful spot to getaway and unplug for a little while.

Great place for relaxing and exploring. The host is very friendly, helpful and very responsive. It has been a pleasure staying in this quaint cabin. Easy to find, easy to check in and have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Shop in Grants Pass 30 minutes away or explore the small town of Jacksonville . Definitely recommend and definitely will stay again.

Very nice property and had a good time relaxing at the cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub one night to and it's perfect for stargazing. Saw an owl on the property and a deer in the early morning. Very rustic cabin. Had to clean a little bit when we arrived but nothing unreasonable (swept and wiped counters)

My favorite of ALL time!
Creekside Cottage
This was by far the most beautiful surroundings of any hipcamp I have stayed at. The cabin was perfect for me. I used the propane stove every day I was there. The bed in the loft was comfy and clean. I did not need the wood-burning stove, but firewood was provided. Karen supplied us half a dozen eggs from her chickens and some flour to fry up the oyster mushrooms we discovered while exploring. The babbling creek right outside the cabin was my favorite feature of all. The hot tub isn't fancy, but it was perfect late in the evening after a long, adventurous day of hiking. The view of the clear sky, brightly shining stars, and the moon were breathtaking and perfect to wind down the day as the warm water bubbled around me. The garden was full of fruit trees. The apples were so delicious. We hiked the national forest and went to the top of the mountain to overlook the gorgeous overview. Freya, the owner's dog, was also a bright spot for me. She went on a walk with me one morning and kept me company. I have always wanted a dog just like her. The trip was beyond anything I could have imagined. The host was kind and warm. She brewed a cup of hot tea for me as we sat and chatted for a bit. I am grateful for the opportunity to experience heaven on earth for a week. I will undoubtedly be back. Disconnecting from society and reconnecting with the earth is precisely what I needed.

We loved our stay here. Karen was super friendly and helpful, giving us a tour of the cabin and grounds when we arrived (she was available if needed, but left us in solitude to enjoy ourselves). The hot tub was a delightful touch and the cabin, creek, and surroundings made for a private and peaceful retreat. There is a deck out back overlooking the creek and various trails to explore—and even some fig and peach trees from which to grab a juicy snack. We were sad to go but are planning a trip back sometime soon!

Absolutely delightful and magical stay! Karen and Chas were amazing hosts and made sure we were very comfy before leaving us to our privacy. The cabin had everything we needed for our week! We will definitely return when in the area and greatly appreciated the hospitality ❤️

This handmade rustic cabin is nestled just a few dozen feet above the creek, which has a few spots to go down and soak your feet or wade in the brisk waters. The bottom is river rocks and sand, and there's a bridge to get over the first creek though you'll need to cross another creek to get to hiking land behind (or check out the public trail near the entrance.) It's probably best to go in fair or cold weather, since bugs and heat can be annoying in hot weather, and then the wood stove and hot tub are more useful. Note that the hot tub is in the host's garden, a short trek back up from the cabin itself.

The best stay I’ve ever had!
Creekside Cottage
My stay at Creekside Cabin was a trip I will never forget! My girlfriend and I had a blast spending time away from our normal lives and enjoying the small, cozy, comfortable cabin that Karen and her husband put together. The cabin sits right next to the creek, which provides a soothing sound throughout the night. The tall trees all around provide lots of shade and the privacy is great. You can hike up the hill and alongside the creek if you wish to have a nice outdoor walk. Karen is the sweetest lady and does everything she can to make sure you have an A+ experience. She provided us with eggs from her chickens and extra towels next to the hot tub so we wouldn’t run out. She’ll also give a short tour upon arrival of the hot tub and the cabin, so any questions you may have will be answered. Creekside Cabin will forever be a great memory. Thanks Karen for being an amazing host!

Heaven’s Cabin

We LOVED this camp! We drove 4 hours to Williams with 2 dogs and were so ready to settle into our original camp. The spot we had booked though did mention they had a dog but not that it free roamed the property and would basically always be just outside our cabin door. My dog doesn’t do great out in public with other dogs so I always take a lot of precaution… I can’t do that though if other dogs are free roaming. So at 9 pm it turned out we couldn’t stay at our original booking. Facing the dreaded thought of driving back home I drove around until I got a bar of service and opened up Hipcamp. There at the top, in Williams, was Karen’s cabin. I requested to book with dwindling hope. My girlfriend starving, my dogs ridden with anxiety from the trip, and myself exhausted from a 4 hour drive Karen responded: “how far from us are you? The bed isn’t made.” We arrived at the cabin to find Karen out front waving at 9:30 pm and her husband in the loft making the bed. The stars had aligned. The sound of the creek that night was beautiful as we fell asleep on an actually comfortable mattress. They made accommodations for our dogs and provided more than we could have hoped for. It wasn’t until morning that we recognized the true beauty of Karen’s property. Secluded, natural, and comfortable. The dogs loved the creek. We loved the hot tub. They even brought us a bottle of wine to celebrate our weekend! We are so thankful and can’t wait until we are able to visit again.

Karen s land is great for relaxing and exploring the area. The directions were clear and the host very responsive and friendly. It was a great time in the cabin. We enjoyed the Hellgate boat excursion in Grants Pass and took trip to the Redwoods. The cabin was perfect for relaxing after, especially with the sound of the creek. Enjoy dinner in town or bring what you need and make dinner in the cabin. Highly recommend.

We loved the rustic style cabin with the wood stove. Karen's property is absolutely breathtaking- the cabin is nestled in the forest with the roaring creek right outside the window and a beautiful hiking trail a hop away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to returning!

My partnwr and i enjoyed staying in karens cabin. It is a nice upgrade from tent sleeping, and worked perfectly fot our anniversay weekend. Its a down to earth cabin that meets the needs of non fussy glampers. With the added benefit of star gazing from a private hot tub. :)
