Newly constructed tiny home provides GLAMPING at its finest! The Liberty cabin shares a space with a few tent sites along the river. With the addition of Liberty, I have limited the number of campers to 4. (Exceptions may be made for holiday weekends). There is plenty of space for everyone and the cabin sits above the tent sites for amazing views and privacy.
While HWY 16 can be a bit noisy during busy times, step into the campsites and let the peaceful noise-canceling river serenity whisk you away. Forest views across the river with endless fireflies and stars that light up the night!
Zaloo's Canoes, Kayak, and Tubes is within eyesight and will set you up with an amazing float or paddle down river. Plentiful small mouth bass and trout fishing just steps from your site. Outhouse w/washing station. Fire pits at each site as well as a large communal fire pit and picnic tables.
Downtown West Jefferson is just 15 minutes away with local breweries, quaint restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, shopping, music, art, and a wonderful farmer's market from May - October.
The quaint little town of Lansing, NC is quickly becoming a favorite stop of mine. Check out the Old Orchard Creek General Store, Pie on the Mountain Pizza, the Old Orchard Creek Blueberry Farm, and Molly Chomper for a perfect day in Ashe County.
The New River State Park is an easy walk, float, paddle or drive away. This park is absolutely GORGEOUS and impeccably maintained, including hiking trails, public facilities, showers, boat launch and pick up, etc.
Just a short drive to multiple Blue Ridge Parkway entry points for ease of access to Boone, Appalachian State University, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, and the Linville Gorge.
Mount Jefferson and Grayson Highlands are also just a short drive away for unlimited hiking and incredible mountain views. My personal favorite is hiking with the wild ponies at Grayson Highlands!
We have Firewood available for a nominal fee. Just let us know and we will make arrangements to have it ready for you upon arrival.

There is plenty of space for everyone and the cabin sits above the tent sites for amazing views and privacy.
While HWY 16 can be a bit noisy during busy times, step into the campsites and let the peaceful noise-canceling river serenity whisk you away. Forest views across the river with endless fireflies and stars that light up the night!
Zaloo's Canoes, Kayak, and Tubes is within eyesight and will set you up with an amazing float or paddle down river. Plentiful small mouth bass and trout fishing just steps from your site. Outhouse w/washing station. Fire pits at each site as well as a large communal fire pit and picnic tables.
Downtown West Jefferson is just 15 minutes away with local breweries, quaint restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, shopping, music, art, and a wonderful farmer's market from May - October.
The quaint little town of Lansing, NC is quickly becoming a favorite stop of mine. Check out the Old Orchard Creek General Store, Pie on the Mountain Pizza, the Old Orchard Creek Blueberry Farm, and Molly Chomper for a perfect day in Ashe County.
The New River State Park is an easy walk, float, paddle or drive away. This park is absolutely GORGEOUS and impeccably maintained, including hiking trails, public facilities, showers, boat launch and pick up, etc.
Just a short drive to multiple Blue Ridge Parkway entry points for ease of access to Boone, Appalachian State University, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, and the Linville Gorge.
Mount Jefferson and Grayson Highlands are also just a short drive away for unlimited hiking and incredible mountain views. My personal favorite is hiking with the wild ponies at Grayson Highlands!
We have Firewood available for a nominal fee. Just let us know and we will make arrangements to have it ready for you upon arrival.

camping sites on elk creek or smaller creek that feeds elk creek. trout fishing on stocked stream. mountain biking, hiking. 20 min. to Boone. n.c. Hiking trails can be fairly easy or as steep as your goat would like. there are dirt bike trails near by that can be ridden from camp site. come pan for gold in elk creek. Nice swimming hole at site, motorcycle campers welcome.

Absolutely loved staying here! Will definitely return one day. The site was right on the river and we were able to jump on in with our floats and fish off the bank. John was super helpful during our entire stay. Highly recommend the tent that John provides— it had a full sized memory foam mattress, couch and a ton of space to store all of our camping gear. It was my 9 year old daughter’s first time camping and she didn’t want to leave!

We loved staying in the Rivernest cabin in the treetops! From the deck we had a view of both the Yadkin River below and Pilot Mountain across the valley—truly breathtaking. The bed and soft seating were comfortable, and the kitchenette was well equipped for our long weekend of glamping. We added on a dozen eggs fresh from the onsite henhouse, and they were delicious! We enjoyed walking the many trails and hanging out at the river access on site. And we enjoyed meeting Christine who is a kind and friendly host. We look forward to returning—maybe for blackberry picking season!

Weekend Trip to Easy Bend River Farms
Christine's home is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking and the hikes down to the water were a delight! It had everything we needed and she even stopped over the first night to make sure we settled in. The directions were spot on, definitely follow them. Definitely do not hesitate to book here, you wont regret it!!

My puppy and I LOVED the treehouse! It was cozy, quiet, & had just about everything you could need for a trip. There were dog treats, doggy shampoo, & a doggy towel which was awesome after spending the day on the trails. The property & the views were so beautiful and Christine was such a pleasant host. She made us feel right at home. 11/10 would recommend. I will definitely be taking another trip here during blackberry season!

Weekend Trip to Raylans Yurt
What an amazing little gem tucked away in a beautiful location surrounded by vineyards. At night warmed by the camp fire you could see every star in the sky. Dawn did a wonderful job putting this little paradise together. Everything was readily available that I didn't even think we might need.

Beautiful place to spend the night. I really enjoyed the bed, it’s super comfy!
It’s quiet and lots of stars. The bathroom was clean and cabin was very clean. Cabin is beautifully decorated. They even had small fridge with some waters. Very nice location near vineyards and not too far from town.
My only recommendation would be to add full length curtains for privacy and to keep sun out in morning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a wonderful stay at Christine’s treehouse! She has truly thought of everything to make this the perfectly cozy and relaxing stay. It has everything you need. The place is beautifully decorated and I felt like I was in a cozy artist’s studio. Even though the nights during our stay were cold, we were very warm and comfortable inside the treehouse with the heaters doing a great job. The views of the river from the treehouse is gorgeous and being able to open both garage doors to let the fresh air in really merged the outside freshness with the indoor relaxation. Christine’s property is also super cool! She has miles of hiking trails available and has stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes available to use! There were even doggie life jackets! The treehouse is also only 45 minutes from Winston-Salem and the perfect weekend getaway. This is a stay we’d absolutely love to do again! (Also, make sure to follow the directions and NOT plug the treehouse address into Google Maps because that may lead you somewhere quite different).

Weekend Trip to Glamping At Fall Creek Retreats
Wow, what a gem this place is. My girlfriend and I were fortunate to be the only ones staying last weekend, it was absolutely tranquil. We stayed in the geodome. Being right on the creek, away from everyone and everything, and still having WiFi to share pics with friends and family made it that much better. We stayed for two nights, checked out and made it to Boone in just 25 minutes to start our adventure down the mountain. Paul was quick to message back when we couldn’t figure out the WiFi password, and checked on us during our stay. Safe to say we would highly recommended this spot!
