A place where you can enjoy a beautiful comfortable camper where the doors open right onto a gorgeous deck that looks directly onto the New River. The New River is considered one of the oldest rivers in the world. This is a place where you can watch birds (bald eagles have been seen), swim, fish, kayak, canoe and go boating. You can make a campfire footsteps to the river, or kick back on one of our chair loungers and watch the geese take a swim. Feel free to sing songs as you roast your marshmallows as you may hear a neighbor doing the same (it is a recreational lot so there are others around you as these are privately owned lots and a family friendly place. If you are looking for seclusion, this is not the place for you). The next morning wake up with your morning coffee as you swing on our beautiful fully covered 24x34’ deck with the beautiful view of The New River. We are walking distance (1 mile) to Fries Historic Dam (pronounced freeze, named after Colonel Francis H. Fries) and to the New River Trail Picnic Area where there is a playground, an ice cream shop and a restaurant. This area is where you can begin your walk along the 57 mile long The New River Trail State Park which is full of history. The camper sleeps 8 people comfortably and has all of the comforts of home with a coffee bar, water, towels, sheets and pillows. We provide soap, shampoo and conditioner. The deck has a porch swing, picnic table, stools and chaise loungers. There is a charcoal BBQ grill right off the deck and a grilled on deck. .
