Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. While here, you can enjoy outdoor access to all ten acres including a nice scenic driveway and walk and a pasture down by the road. We are conveniently located close to East Ridge, Ringgold, and Fort Oglethorpe, with downtown Chattanooga only 25 minutes away. NOTE: Driveway access is paved and curving on an incline. It is a little steeper near the end as pictured. It’s 12 feet wide and a little wider around the curves for extra room. We have pulled trailers and a 20 foot uhaul up through there with no issue. 5th wheel campers may have difficulty not having enough width for turns. NOTE: Our two dogs are free range when they are let out of the main house. This is why we aren’t pet friendly for bookings. They are quiet and harmless, but if you are averse to animals around be aware.

We have 20 acres of savannah grassland full of native plants and wildflowers and over 80 untouched acres full of awesome rock formations and creeks with waterfalls available for you to hike. There's a stocked fish pond for catch and release fishing and a gorgeous view overlooking the Cumberland Plateau and the Sherwood Valley. Experienced and beginner campers are welcome! We live on one side of the property, so we’re available to assist (setting up tents for the first few times is no joke!) or we’re happy to give you as much space and solitude as you need. We have three campsites available in the native savannah grassland, and one that is a "hike-in and choose your favorite spot in the woods" site. The pull through site we used was perfect. We got there a little late and left a little late but nobody bothered us. It was very smooth check in and check out as expected. Thanks for having us. Im sure we will be back next year for the smasherz tournament so we will be staying here again!!

Weekend Trip to Oak Hill RV in Southeast TN

This site is a slice of heaven with the beautiful pastures, huge trees and quiet country setting! We took our reactive dogs, but the cows kept their distance so we didn’t have any issues! There was also enough service to FaceTime in for a family party we were missing! Julie was accommodating letting us hook up to their shed as a back up source of power. Highly recommend staying here!!

1 night at River Ranch @ Summerville, GA

It is a beautiful, serene place to camp for the night. We weren't there long enough to enjoy all they had to offer but we walked the land and enjoyed every step. Directions to River Ranch were clear and concise. Doni was a very good host, explaining everything clearly and graciously opened his land for us to explore. My dog and I enjoyed it very much and felt safe there!

5 nights at NW GA Farm Stay

This was our 2nd stay at the farm and just as great as the first. Our 37’ fifth wheel fits and levels out on the gravel RV pad wonderfully. 50 amp power is a plus. We had a couple of busy days and it was so nice to go back to the farm to unwind and enjoy the scenery. I can’t wait til the next time we have the opportunity to visit again.

Great little campground! The host met us, even though we arrived late to make sure we could get in ok. Site 10 is a back in site up on the hill. They are expanding, but the construction didn't get in the way and the campground is very clean and tidy. Will be back!

I love how we can just pull into our spot with hookup being easy. Most places you have to back into them. This was easy peasy and a friendly place. Great location, super convenient to all the major sites in Chattanooga. The gem panning right next to the campground was a huge hit for the kids. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back.

3 nights at Magnolia Campground at Hixson Farms

Janna was the perfect host! My grandson loved camping near all the animals, and was thrilled to be invited to bottle-feed the Highland calf! He met donkeys, goats, cows, mini horses, bunnies, and chickens, and loved having the farm dogs follow him around. The site was perfect, although unlevel (bring lots of leveling blocks), with 30 amp electric, water, and sewer. A fire pit and picnic table completed the beautiful site under the magnolia tree. We can't wait to go back again, and highly recommend this farm campground!

I absolutely loved carcamping at Danny's Dark Hollow site! Super easy to find, Danny made it a point to greet us on arrival and give us a quick orientation tour, and the site has absolutely everything a camper needs to enjoy nature to the fullest. If you're looking for a stress free, beautifully kept, natural beauty abundant place to camp, you've found it! I can't wait to go back!

Rodger was fantastic! He contacted me immediately after I booked (my notifications were off, so wasn't aware) ... it was so nice to be advised in advance of what to expect. I feel that his description & check in procedures were exactly stated. He offered additional site information based on his current occupancy & we really appreciated his "real-time" assessment. We selected this site based on location. It was an easy access to Greenville, Scottsboro, Chattanooga & Hwy 59 (when we departed). We would definitely stay again & recommend to our fellow campers.

The land was so beautiful and peaceful. We stayed at “The Ledge” and had amazing views and sounds (waterfalls, birds, and tigers)! Everything was well-kept. The shower was nice and got hot! The wood-fire bundle was also worth it. Thank you for the great place to stay!

We camped at eagle point and loved every second we were there. We will definitely be going back. Danny was an amazing host. If we had any issues he was there.

Dog's are allowed but not pit bulls, I have a boxer and she was fine. Management drove around telling everyone to be quiet during campfire 8-9 pm not a good place for a large group. Nice and clean campground. But they expect silent campers.

One of North Georgia's least known parks - this little slice of heaven is a best kept secret. I almost don't want people to know about it, because I love it so much and I want to keep it to myself. :)
