Robby was very welcoming and accommodating to anything need! Beautiful place very well maintained, and the tents preset up are certainly a game changer! I will not stay anywhere in the Chattanooga area unless it’s at their spot!! Thank yall and can’t wait to see yall soon!

Our family loved staying at Robby's place! The RV was so nice and a good size for our little family of 4. Our kids ask everyday if we can go back, that's how much they loved it! It is very private and Robby is super hospitable. We're already trying to plan our next visit because we didn't get to explore his land as much as we wanted. Everything was amazing, we actually needed a little help learning how to work the water and drain the tub after bath times for both kids and Robby was up there and ready to help ASAP. He's super responsive and had a ton of incredible information to tell us about the native land we were staying on. I had to go to Chattanooga for a work trip, but it never felt like work when we got back. The firewood he provided gave us 3 nights of fires and the bed was so cozy, even though my husband and I are both really tall. Our kiddos loved the bunk beds and slept through the night, which is rare with two toddlers. The amenities are so nice and it really is such a short drive to Chattanooga. We will always look back on this trip as one of our favorites and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for everything, Robby.

The Civil War Yurt
Covenant View was a fantastic site and Robby was an excellent host. The land is beautiful- tucked away toward the bottom of Lookout Mountain with a variety of camping areas. The meadow was an especially pretty spot. The day of my arrival there had been a tropical storm from the Gulf Coast which brought rain to the area. I was initially going to be in a yurt, but Robby called to let me know that area was too muddy and he was going to have me stay in a different tent site. Everything turned out great- the tent was huge with large and comfortable air mattress that seemed like a foam mattress (super comfortable), it had a "porch" vestibule area with a lounge chair, and all in all the site was really nice. Robby's communication was top notch and he detailed how to get to the site and recommended local hiking trails and activities. I highly recommend it!

It was a lovely & relaxing experience and Robby was very kind, offering another available yurt that was a little further from the highway since I’d been driving many hours that day. Surrounded by trees, could hear turkeys, and many sweet bird sounds.

The site was easily accessible and offered beautiful scenery featuring an open meadow, a clear flowing creek, and wide view of Lookout Mountain. We were looking to be submerged completely in nature and that's what we got. Robby was a fantastic host -friendly and quick to respond via the hipcamp app. We had firewood already chopped for us ready to go -not sure if that was left by the previous camper or if it was provided by Robby but we were grateful! It was an very nice experience and would recommend it!

Everything at the campground was well designed. Robby gave us guidance upon check in about the property and even took the time to mow the grass before we arrived. He also provided several recommendations for things to do in the area. We enjoyed camping here!

A beautiful quiet hayfield with wildflowers strewn about and the host, Robby, was extremely nice and accommodating! Easy to get to (we were in a small 2WD car) and right off I-59 for those just passing through!

We enjoyed our evening stay here! We’d definitely like to come back. Besides the train sometimes (which we didn’t mind AT ALL) it was so peaceful. Lots of space to roam, and the owner was kind and knowledgeable about the area which was nice. It rained while we were here and hearing the raindrops on the yurt top was so soothing. Stayed dry as well.

The Civil War Yurt
This is a beautiful property with lots of interesting things to see. Robby is a very nice host and met us on our way in to explain the property and give some tips about hiking trails. He graciously let us switch sites once we arrived because my kids really liked the large hammock at a different site that wasn't occupied that night. There was already a tent set up, which was really nice so we could get right to enjoying the outdoors. We enjoyed hiking and seeing Civil War era rifle pits. Access was easy with our low ground clearance cross over SUV and probably even a regular car would be fine. The woods are so peaceful and we will definitely be back!

Robby and Tina were fantastic hosts! We felt right at home. We were welcomed with a huge tent (and air mattress) and a fire already set up. The campsite was beautiful and had an amazing view of Lookout mountain. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and listening to birds. I was even able to identify bird sounds thanks to the app Tina shared. We also liked the site because it was only around 20 minutes from all the wonderful attractions on Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga and Rock City. We visited Anna Ruby Falls and Racoon Mountain. Robby used to be a tour guide so has lots of knowledge of the surrounding areas and places to explore. We loved Kayaking which they transported the kayaks for you. They also shared a cute coffee shop where you can feed/pet alpacas nearby. Such a great trip!! We appreciate them opening their home to us and will definitely be staying here again.

What a beautiful piece of land! We went fishing nearby, gazed at an open view of the stars, and took in the fresh air. Robby was the perfect host helping us in every way he could from recommendations, helping with our tent and firewood to just being a hospitable host. We will definitely be back again!

We loved staying on Robby’s land. He was friendly, and met us at the gate to give us some directions and details about the campsite. The campsite had 6 spots, and most of the were concentrated on one side of the field, so you may be close to others if you choose on of those. We had no one around us, and aside from the occasional train passing by, it was very peaceful. We had great views of the night sky and saw a few shooting stars while we were out. Plenty of space, good access to a bathroom. We had to walk out a bit to get some firewood, but that wasn’t a difficult endeavor. We all had a great time and would stay here in the future.

The yurt had a small blow up mattress, which was a plus because it wasn’t listed in the description (at least to my memory). The land was absolutely beautiful, and he took the time to make sure we got to our yurt safely. Made my friend and I feel incredibly safe as two young women traveling alone together. We would definitely stay here again.

My dog and I had a perfect last second long weekend getaway. The property was easy to get to, close to so many awesome hiking trails, and was beautiful. The host, Robby, communicated well and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He brought us enough firewood to last the entire trip and offered multiple options in case the weather got too cold while there. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend anywhere on his property and will hopefully be back sooner than later!

Tent was all set with a queen sized airmatress and electricity for anything we needed. Wood pile with saw tight there. Clean. Nice. Great host. Right off the highway but secluded. Would stay there again.

Primitive at Barred Owl Village
I had a great experience staying on Robby's land. I arrived late so it was dark and he made the process of getting out to the area and set up super easy. It was just me and my dog and I felt very safe and taken care of the whole time. He drove out to where I was going to be and was flexible with where I was able to set up. The second night he brought me firewood. The set up of the whole property was really great. There's walking trails, he mentioned an alpaca farm not too far away, there's bathrooms and potable water in some areas. I found the yurts super cool and there's "floating beds" set up at some of the sites in the woods, as well as larger tents. I will definitely be back again with my friends!

I had another great day on Robby’s property! This time I stayed at the area called Whispering Pines. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice trails to walk and explore. I saw lots of wildlife. A red fox was just over the hill from me. I watched for about five minutes as he walked along this little ridge. Also saw a red tail hawk and an owl! This particular area has hammocks, but not the traditional hammocks that you would think of. It’s more of a strong elastic, stiff mesh…that is connected to three trees in a triangle configuration. They hold a lot of weight, and almost feel like trampoline, but are extremely comfortable! I sat out there for hours, either watching wildlife or just relaxing. His property is an amazing place to go to. Both he and his wife are extremely accommodating hosts, and I appreciate that so much! I am trying to sort out when my next trip there will be. One of the cool things about this trip was… there was rain forecast for the morning that I left, and it being my birthday, Robby was thoughtful enough to let me stay at one of the tents that he already has set up for guests in case they did not want to bring their own…at no additional charge! He said it was because it was my birthday and because, storms were forecast to come through that morning but…all I had to do is put my stuff in the car, and not worry about taking down a wet tent and wet gear and putting it away! Thank y’all so much for your hospitality and I will see y’all very very soon!
