There are a couple great spots to set up a tent and great little stream to play in. We found some stones for a fire ring and good flat ground. Would do again 10/10!

The Private River Retreat!
This secluded river retreat is excellent for new or seasoned campers who want a private camping experience nestled in nature. Our site was excellent with easy access to the river the sounds of which put us to sleep at night. We had a little trouble with directions and We sent a note through the HipCamp app. Our phone service was spotty so the host drove out to ensure that we made it in okay. That was a classy move. We left the campsite better than we found it --which was tough to do because it was in clean and undisturbed condition when we arrived. Heck we even lost one of our party for a few hours only to find him asleep on a rock, under the old bridge, by the bank of the river. Tori is a champion host and this site was first class.

The Private River Retreat!
It was perfect for myself, son, and two dogs to walk around and explore. The dogs were off leash since it's one group at a time. I was relaxed knowing there would not be distractions for them being German Shepherds. The river was calm and in view and we look forward to another visit.

2nd time camping on this property and we love it! Great for groups and dog owners! Will be back for sure in the warmer months to play in thr river, even though we played in it in November.. brrrr!

The Private River Retreat!
This spot was perfect for our tiny 12 foot RV! Very easy to get to and find. We camped in a spot that already had a fire ring and was right by the river. We've already booked to go back in a couple weeks with some friends. There's a pretty good size clearing that you could put at least 4 tents on, should be perfect! I love how the dogs can run around too and you don't have to watch them the whole time.

Tori’s land was such a great find! I we had 4 tents and a small camper and there was plenty of room for everyone! Our dogs loved the river! The site was easy to find with Tori’s helpful directions/instructions. We set up camp under the old bridge and felt secluded which we loved! Would definitely come back here.

Great hidden spot. A lot of privacy. Make sure to bring a 4x4 car other wise getting to the camp site can get a little tricky. Great place.

Nice spot tucked well back into the woods. I definitely liked the "single family" rental, as there were not other campers around to worry about. There was zero "light pollution", no houses or street lights can be seen! There is a large flat clearing near the river that has ample space for tents, vehicles, even throwing a football or frisbee. The area was mostly hardwoods, thin underbrush with lots of ferns and moss. Be aware of deadfall/deadman, as there are a many around. The ground is a sandy soil so it drains/dries well. Camped during a rain event and it didnt get muddy around camp. The road out of the river bottom can be slick when wet, so make sure to have good 4x4 or go when dry. Tori was a pleasant and accommodating host, without being nosy or overbearing. Overall had a great experience.

Very cool primitive site. I camped under the bridge (mostly because there was a fire ring there already) and went fishing. Very shady all day....it's a "build a campsite where you want" kind of thing. Wish I could have stayed longer, so I'll be back soon to chase more bass.

Nice and quiet little area that's tucked away. If you want primitive this is a good area. You really need a truck to navigate the terrain. Do yourself a favor and bring some tick repellent to be safe. The old bridge was really cool and interesting!
