Close to horse back riding, Lake Istokpoga Park is less than 5 miles for great fishing and boat ramp access. Highlands Hammock State Park is close by. Sebring International Raceway is near by as well. 80 miles to either Florida coast and 2 hrs south of Orlando. Just a disclaimer; Sebring Raceway is 7 miles away and if the wind is right you can hear the cars racing, also, lake Istokpoga is big for airboats so we do hear them running some but they are usually quiet at night. My partner Ray and I loved staying in the “cabin” camper. Everything was immaculate and all the comforts if home. All the other campers were really nice and fun. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Jaime and Bolton are excellent hosts and keep the campground in excellent condition. We’ll definitely be returning!

Really nice property. Feels like you have all 5 acres to yourself. Host Lee couldn't be a better host. He mentioned several guests have gotten lost finding the property. I did too. Somewhere during the reservation G maps put his loc as the spot on the description, about 20 minutes south of the actual. I realized that putting the Address in G maps is the right way to go. Maybe this info can be added to the description.

The hosts, Jamie and Bolton, were friendly, helpful and great about making introductions and “breaking the ice” with fellow campers and “day pass” visitors who were local and a few who drove some distance to enjoy the pool and hospitality. This was great for a first timer like myself. Very friendly, welcoming and inclusive fellow guests. I will definitely return, as it is only two hours from home.

The place is amazing. A large plot with plenty of open space in a very quiet area. It’s great for bringing your RV or tent and camping while watching the sunset, or having a barbecue.

This was a very quiet and clean campground. Surprisingly no mosquitoes at all over our stay. Bathrooms and pool were both very clean. it was fantastic having Lake Kissimmee State Park just a short bike ride away.

Very quiet, peaceful location. It's a working horse training, boarding facility, so daytime activities are enjoyable to watch. The grandkid loved it. Tammi accommodated our 'leave early, return late' schedule very easily.

AMAZING!!! I can't say enough honestly. Our family goes to Orlando a couple times a year and have always stayed at the bigger campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, Margaritaville, etc. This was the most quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in Orlando. The people that are there we so nice and polite, and it didn't even seem like we were in the city at all. The site set up is awesome and the hot tub was my kids highlight lol. I will return over and over. The convenience of the location is near perfect to everything. Ginger was superb, and helpful with recommendations nearby as it was my wife's birthday. We can't thank you enough. Bottom line, AMAZING!!!!

2 nights at Picturesque Mango Tango Estate

Matthew was great. It is a little tight getting into the spot but wonderful when you get there. I used the provided sewer hose which was the easiest hookup ever. My 25' water hose was not quite long enough but I could have moved my camper to make it work. Instead I went to a nearby store for an extension. This quiet campsite at the beautiful lake is close to shopping for anything you might need for supplies. It's the best of both worlds.

5 nights at Wilderness Shores Ranch Campground!

We loved Wilderness Shores. The amount of wildlife we saw was just incredible. SO many birds, we witnessed an alligator eating a fish, a bald eagle swooped near our site! There was plenty of space and the kids loved petting the goats and seeing the longhorns graze. The sites are surrounded by old growth live oaks that are so beautiful. We have spent a year traveling and camping in various places and this was one of our favorites.

Weekend Trip to Lakeside Tranquility Camp

The land and lake were beautiful and despite it being in a “neighborhood,” the camping space felt nice and private. Joe was very nice and made sure we were comfortable, and even let us borrow his canoe. Bring your own firewood, as it is difficult to come by in the area. During the day, the Lake Istokpoga was VERY loud, filled with airboats and all sorts of noise, though we did camp over Easter weekend and fortunately the boat noise subsided once the sun went down. Then the gators started snoring, which was entertaining, haha! All in all, a lovely stay!
