The A-frame cabin is exactly as described and was a cozy place to spend a summers evening. I almost wanted it to get cold to use the wood burning stove! The land around the cabin is also a real treat, lots of trails, additional campsites, and an interesting history of the property to take in.

It was great camping at Dave’s! Felt secluded and safe, there was peace of mind with two gates. My family loved taking little stroll, wandering the property trails. My son loved exploring the creek that ran through the site. There were other campers but couldn’t hear them unless we were on the main trail.
I absolutely loved that Dave had a clear and descriptive description and instructions for finding his property.
The walk-in camp site #2 was a blast and would definitely come back again! Thanks so much For the awesome weekend!

This was a great camp ground with lots of space to explore. Having running water and an outhouse was a big plus. And the views were beautiful!

Where to begin? This property and camp site were absolutely incredibly. Perfectly tucked away into a beautiful moss covered forest. All we could hear all weekend were the sounds of the birds. It was so peaceful! The cabin comfortable housed two adults and two small kids (we used a pack n play and a kids air mattress). The potable water, outhouse, heated outside shower and propane burner inside the cabin made the experience so nice! No need to pack a ton of water or propane bottles for cooking!! The perfect site for a group of people. We explored many of the hikes that Dave included in his informational packet. Everyone had a magical time and we can't wait to return!

Popcorn Pond RV Camp
I was looking for a place that is away from the city, has cell service and also peaceful and private. This spot filled the bill pretty well. Dave was super responsive, answered pre-questions promptly, provided clear directions, maps and the first bundle of firewood. The primary picture kinda threw me off a bit, but make no mistake, the RV spot is great for a small RV or even a tent, it felt secluded and private with more space than the pictures seem to show. I will visit again.

i absolutely loved it here! it was such a beautiful place with way more than i could’ve asked for, definitely packed more than i needed as this place comes with everything you could need, cleaning supplies, pots/pans, utensils, cups/bowls/plates, the whole 9 yards. it was a beautiful secluded place with a GORGEOUS view and the prettiest sunsets, there’s also lots of trails & ponds/rivers nearby at the campground and not too far of a drive away from gas stations/grocery stores/fast food places so you don’t have to feel stuck in the cabin, david was amazing and communicated greatly with me and was a huge help with any questions i had. so thank you david for such an amazing place and a great stay!

This place was spectacular! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The small trails were perfect for our two cats and they felt very safe the whole time. We will absolutely be recommending it to our friends!

Lovely place! So quiet and secluded. The bird songs are incredible. The place is lovingly maintained and even though it’s camping, Dave has thought of all the conveniences without making it too fancy. Dave was also very responsive and gave perfect directions to the site. We will definitely be back!

What a great weekend at the Popcorn Pond RV site. The site was very well maintained and perfect size for my full sized truck and 20 ft trailer. Great to have fresh water hookup also. Dave was a great host and there were so many well marked trails to explore. We will go back again!!

I assumed this place would be nice based on the pictures, but in person this property exceeds every expectation. It beautiful, extremely cozy, and the host is amazing. He made sure that out weekend away was as good as it could be and was always willing to accommodate to your questions or needs!

Dave has such a cool camp set up! The warm shower was nice after visiting the river, and the site was well-equipped with comforts that we are looking forward to booking again! Dave sent very helpful and detailed instructions that really made us feel like we were set up with everything we needed before the trip.

Just got back from Valhalla Farms via Hipcamp — what a gem. The campsite had everything you'd want and more: a spacious layout, two fire pits (because why not?), a stream running through, and even a gas-powered hot shower. The cabin was cozy with bunk beds for the kids and plenty of room for the whole crew — dogs included. With so much to do right on-site and even more to explore nearby, this place checked every box. We’ll definitely be back.

This is the second time we camped at Vahalla Tree Farm, and we love it there! The Creekside Camp is our new favorite camp site; so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We only had two people, but there’s space for more tents if you have a larger group. It’s not far to walk-in with your gear, and they provide a wheelbarrow to haul gear to and from the car to the campsite. The shelter was great for shade from the sun, and also during a light rain shower.
Dave is kind, thorough with information, and responds quickly to messages.

Valhalla Cabin was quaint and perfectly nestled beneath majestic trees—photos truly don’t do it justice! The experience was nothing short of amazing. If we lived closer, we’d be visiting every month! Beautiful property and easy access to site. Roads are gravel and very well maintained. Water is fantastic and convenient location at all the sites. So quiet with lots of beautiful bird songs. Saw baby ducks, great cranes and several other birds at the pond, so peaceful. Looking forward to our next visit.

We recently became empty nesters and now own a camper van with two large dogs. This was our maiden voyage out and had a wonderful stay at Popcorn Pond. It was nice to show up to a well manicured campsite, two chairs, a table, and a fire pit. Our camper van is 21 feet and fit perfectly into the campsite. The trail map provided was accurate and they are easy trails for beginners. The hike to the chapel is up a gravel road and could be challenging for some people but worth it. It’s adorable! Dave was easy to communicate with and helpful with questions we had. If you’re looking for a nice little experience in the woods I highly recommend checking out the Valhalla Tree Farm.

A relaxing retreat in the forest, I took my pup here for our first overnight trip together. She loved exploring all the different ecosystems here: pond, stream, outcropping and lots of woods. The cabin is rustic but solid, I loved relaxing on the deck listening to the sound of the stream. Will definitely be returning soon.

This campsite is one of the hidden gems of Washington. The campsite is large and beautiful with everything you could need while camping already set up for you. The outhouse is new and clean, the firepit well kept, and a permanent table with a well crafted shelter. Outside of the campsite itself the land has many beautiful trails and little hideaway spots to relax at and read or do some birding. This is our second time here and we defined plan to come back soon.

Popcorn Pond RV Camp
I've now stayed at all the sites at Valhalla, and they're all great. Popcorn Pond is meant for campers and RVs, so it doesn't have some of the amenities of the other sites, like a covered shelter or a toilet. But, it's still peaceful and quiet, with a fresh water spigot, table, and a great fire ring. I made a fire and listened to the chorus of frogs in the nearby pond, and took a stroll around the trails on the property. Had a great time!

Huckleberry Hill Shelter Camp
My kid loved this campsite. It is gated and felt safe with wonder around with my kid even it feels like in a mountain. We brought wakietakie for my kid (there is cellphine signal) and made the lil cliff behind the camp site as his castle for the weekend. You can see the poind from there and it wad pretty. The water inside the campsite made thinga a lot easy. We heard owls and some critters. Outhosue was basic but didn't have smell.

What an exceptionally beautiful place- the peace and quiet afforded by this sweet refuge was just what I needed to completely relax and shed my stress. I stayed in the small cabin, which was simple but comfortable, with a sink and outhouse, and a wonderful gas stove that kept the cabin so toasty warm...There are no outlets available so keep that in mind and be prepared if you need cell phone access, I found being off grid exceptionally freeing. The host included a summary of the short trails available on the massive property and was responsive to questions and issues...This was definitely a great find and highly recommend- don't forget to bring blankets and a towel for the outdoor shower!

We stayed at the cabin and additional tent site and had a wonderful time. The scenery here seems like something out of someone’s imagination. It rained quite a bit during our stay but we still had a wonderful time. The forest was so pretty and the sun would hit the nearby mountain at certain points during the day and it appeared as if nature was lighting it up! We loved it here and will definitely be returning in the future!

We had such a great time the first time we stayed in the A Frame, that we booked it again. Our girls trip was perfect. The sleeping pads are plenty comfy, and the view is stunning. We brought our own water, but the kitchen had pots and pans already. My friend drove her minivan up the hill, which I was a little surprised, but she made it. I don't recommend it though. 4WD is best.
