Kat is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Immerse yourself in nature on this serene thirty acre property with gently rolling meadow, groves of mature hardwood trees, woods, a picturesque wooden barn, and a beautiful pond. Wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to the sounds of crickets and frogs. Stroll our woodland trail or relax at your private campsite. And while we can certainly recommend plenty of activities in the area, we don't think you'll want to leave! Our sites are spacious and spread out so you can enjoy a roomy camping experience. We have a fully plumbed and heated bathhouse with men's and women's restrooms and hot water showers (opened on request). Our rustic clubhouse has a full kitchen (opened for a small cleaning fee) and a large covered porch with views over the property. We have Cornhole, giant Jenga, and other games and puzzles available. We manage the property so as to balance our ecological and wildlife habitat goals with the comfort of our campers. We mow sections our meadow on a rotating basis, ensuring that an area has been mowed for you within a few days of all advance bookings, a week at the outside. We also mow walking trails around and through the meadow. However this is not a lawn or city park - the field is mowed to 3.75 inches and does have fire ants and other critters. We generally recommend closed toed shoes and socks for your comfort, and take care when walking the property at night or if anyone has difficulty with uneven ground. We also offer farm fresh eggs, and yoga and meditation classes in our studio at a special rate for campers!

Barn-side Tent Site Covered Parking
Second stay at Kat's. This time was at barnside with covered parking. Great spot since it rained overnight. Pitched my tent under cover with my sidecar. Kat is a great host !! Nice bathhouse and a convenience store next door to Kat's property.

Hiking, Swimming, and a Great Host!
2nd trip to Kat's place and it was awesome again! I brought my two dogs with me for hiking and swimming around the property. A new fire pit at site 2 was added as well as benches by the pond for sitting in the shade watching the dogs play. The bathrooms were still very clean and Kat was an amazing host as always to include helping jump my RV battery that had died the morning I was scheduled to depart. She came by quickly and helped me get on the road on time...this place is great and the host is even better!

Picture perfect land
Picture perfect land. The campsite was similar to many state parks with water and electricity and a dedicated fire ring. The sites are lined up along the tree line within sight of each other so if you are looking for absolute privacy this is not your place. But the views front into the meadow and to the back into the woods was beautiful and felt private. The bathroom facilities were GREAT too. Highly recommend this beautiful location and lovely hostess.
