This was exactly what we were looking for when searching for our daughter’s first camping trip. The owners were so nice and hospitable and the property grounds are just beautiful. The trails throughout the woods light up at night which made my daughter smile for hours on end. She especially loved the rope swing and visiting the horses!. Don’t skip this spot in your search. You’ll regret it.

We love Luck Farms!!!!
We've been here multiple times and each time gets better and better. The owners are always improving the farms aesthetics. The sites are all wonderful. We've stayed at each of their sites on different occasions. The kids love the swings and the trails. We were able to enjoy our outdoor adventures and created wonderful memories.

Not too far from other stuff but far enough out you feel peace and quiet! Perfect for kids/dogs! Our nieces and nephew LOVED the walking trail and it’s close/small enough they can adventure in their own while adults relax! Halloween decor was extra cute! Hosts were very welcoming!

Hammock camping with walking trails

We loved hammock camping here! There were enough space for us to comfortably fit two hammocks and a tent. The fire pit was elevated which was really convenient for cooking. There were also pretty walking trails that were decorated for Halloween (we went in October). Would definitely come again!

I loved tent camping here, I brought my dog and he loved running around and playing along the trial, we showed up Saturday and the fire pit was amazing along with the host and campers! Def recommend to anyone out there!

Convenient for us off 77 - outhouse cleanest i have ever seen…
The trails at night are magical! If my teen son was an 8 year old again, we would never have gotten him out of there! Great job!
And the muffins and cookies we ordered sustained us for several days after we left - thanks and so yummy!

Would highly recommend, very private, each spot was tucked into clearing surroundedby trees. spot was prepared with a supply of firewood with more available if needed. Very cool walking trails with a large fire pit. Hosts were great , this will be a must stay the next time I'm in the area.

The camping spots were just perfect with room for our huge tent and camping kitchen and the fire pit and picnic table. Hosts were super friendly as were the other campers there. The special touches with golf clubs, community fire pit, trails in the woods (lit up at night too!) and swings made the trip extra special, especially for our kids! Camp spots were private even with all the extras!

Nice place to tent camp close to Charlotte. You can tell the host goes out of their way to make their guest happy and feel at home. Kids will love the rope swing, I know my son did. Worth a visit to camp at Taylor's

Taylor was lovely, I needed just a spot to eat and sleep and walk my dogs. It was private, the trails were nice with the lights, they had a Porto potty which was good and the sites were grass. Some road noise off the highway but it wasn’t distracting or anything. I’d definitely stay again!

It was a last minute trip for me and Taylor was very quick to respond assuring me there was availability.
Not a far drive from Charlotte for a one night get away and what a peaceful place. An added bonus was cell phone coverage allowing me to pick up some tunes from my phone! This is great place for going alone or with a family!

I really liked my camp site, it was quiet and private. It was in the shade and out of the sun, had a picnic table and room for tents. They even let me use their hose for water to shower. It was a great time and i enjoyed it, only about 10 miles from all the stores.

Awesome space, with lots of fun details. Plenty of the space to camp, or park your van/RV. The place we choose to camp was super level. The trails thru the woods with lights strung throughout were magical at night. We would love to have built a fire and chill by the fire pit.
Taylor and Marty were very welcoming, have the cutest pups! Location is super convenient just minutes off the interstate, and close to the Catawaba River and the Landsford Canal State Park. We'll definitely be back.

Taylor and husband were ready and waiting for us to arrive where we happily filled our water tank before setting up our Scamp. the campsite was wonderfully wooded - no insects to speak of! Great firepit and picnic table. The rope swings were more entertaining to our 11 and 8 YO granddaughters than an amusement park. the open field was used for wiffle ball along with discussion of the growing corn. Neighborhood horses were a bonus but nothing compared to the rope swings! Portapot was awesomely clean.

Such a fun impromptu camping trip!
This is a little slice of country Heaven. Open field of crops, campsites are along the tree line with lit up walking trails and, my kids’ favorite of all, A ROPE SWING. They had an absolute blast. Hosts were very nice and welcoming!

Lucky Farms Under the Stars
We enjoyed our two nights camping at Lucky Farms Under the Stars. Taylor and Marty were excellent hosts. Taylor was fast in responding to me on questions I posed ahead of the trip, while Marty met us on site and was very friendly. He showed us the lay of the land, and provided campfire wood, the yummy muffins, and a picnic table for our campsite.
The campsite itself is very clean and was a nice setting under the tree canopy. The farm is peaceful and serene, and the very accessible primitive campsite is just what I was looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
My two boys had a great time exploring the trails in the woods nearby that included lighted pathways, and a big rope swing across a ravine. My boys also enjoyed petting the horses several times in the nearby pasture.
The distant road noise of I-77 can be heard at night but actually provides a nice white noise to sleep to.
Thanks to Taylor and Marty for sharing their land for camping, we made some special memories. Rate it 10/10 , and would visit again another time!
