Sept Enjoy 200 ft of Lake Superior private sandy beach frontage with access to more than 1.5 miles., Beautiful sunsets, and a chance to witness the northern lights, in your private dark sky park; bring your telescope. Search for agats and yooper rocks; bring a black light. Situated on 8 acres of old growth forest, your short walk to the lake is through a park like preserve. Keep your eyes open for wildlife as you cross the boardwalk to the beach. Bring your kayak and or paddle board for a unique experience. A boat launch 1/2 mile away can easily accommodate 16 ft motor boats if fishing is of interest. Enjoy waterfalls? Bond, Agate, Bonanza, and O Kun-de kun are all within an hour.Enjoy your private campsite, for tent or RV, nestled in an old growth Northern hardwoods forest. A view of Lake Superior exists from the fire ring area; a short walk across my private board walk, provides private access to more than a mile of sand beach. Boat, kayak, and canoe launch available in Firesteel River, 1/4 mile away or simply carry your kayak, SUP, ... and launch from shore. Campsite includes fire pit, picnic table, heavy duty cart and a bench. Beach includes small charcoal grill and two captains chairs. Some seasoned firewood will always be provided to begin your stay. Additional wood is always available by foraging on site for downed material. My camper and cabin are on the adjoining lot so I'll always be available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

Superior Lake Effect
Little Slice of Heaven
Howard was an amazing host. He was there on site to help us set up. He even helped fill our water tank and made sure we were all set. He has added some special touches to help make his site enjoyable & his guests feel comfortable. He has a heavy duty wagon to help haul your stuff to and from the beach. He even provided a fan and tiki touches with citronella oil, to help keep the misquotes and bugs away. On top of that he even had the fire pit set up for us. The site was so beautiful. Even though I was expecting to be able to see the beach from the site, that wasn't an issue at all. The walk to the beach is like you are walking through a jungle which was pretty cool. The path is well lit and marked from the site to the beach. Once you get to the beach the beauty is breath taking. Thank you Howard for sharing your slice of heaven with us. It was really hard to pack up and leave. Can't wait until we can come back!

Howard’s site was absolutely amazing. We stayed on the beach the whole time. Howard was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. He provided us with ideas of places to see in the area depending on what we were looking to do. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Superior Lake Effect
Beautiful campsite with easy access to the lake. Prepare for intense bugs (mosquitos and sand flies) during the summer months. Howard was extremely helpful and was on site to assist with whatever we needed. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Superior Lake Effect
We aren't strangers to the UP but this was a newer area for us to stay in. We had a great time and we enjoyed the recommendations from the host, Howard.
