Sept Enjoy 200 ft of Lake Superior private sandy beach frontage with access to more than 1.5 miles., Beautiful sunsets, and a chance to witness the northern lights, in your private dark sky park; bring your telescope. Search for agats and yooper rocks; bring a black light. Situated on 8 acres of old growth forest, your short walk to the lake is through a park like preserve. Keep your eyes open for wildlife as you cross the boardwalk to the beach. Bring your kayak and or paddle board for a unique experience. A boat launch 1/2 mile away can easily accommodate 16 ft motor boats if fishing is of interest. Enjoy waterfalls? Bond, Agate, Bonanza, and O Kun-de kun are all within an hour.Enjoy your private campsite, for tent or RV, nestled in an old growth Northern hardwoods forest. A view of Lake Superior exists from the fire ring area; a short walk across my private board walk, provides private access to more than a mile of sand beach. Boat, kayak, and canoe launch available in Firesteel River, 1/4 mile away or simply carry your kayak, SUP, ... and launch from shore. Campsite includes fire pit, picnic table, heavy duty cart and a bench. Beach includes small charcoal grill and two captains chairs. Some seasoned firewood will always be provided to begin your stay. Additional wood is always available by foraging on site for downed material. My camper and cabin are on the adjoining lot so I'll always be available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

This place is amazing. It is beautiful. We saw northern lights and had fun hikes to waterfalls, ATV rides and more.

Superior Lake Effect

Camping at Howard’s site was nothing short of amazing. The secluded campsite, views, & lake access makes the spot unbeatable. We loved every bit of our stay & are looking forward to visiting again next year. Howard is a great host & has gone above & beyond to ensure his guests feel comfortable & enjoy themselves. We feel so lucky to have found this spot! Thanks so much, Howard!!

Great spot on the beach

Great spot on the lake! Howard has it setup so theres a nice camp spot up in the woods near his cabin with a picnic table and firepit. And a short trail down through the woods to the lake where theres a little wooden platform setup with tiki lights which is where we chose to setup and camped right on the beach and had nighttime beach campfires. Was very relaxing and Howard was very generous if we needed anything or had questions. 10/10.

Superior Experience

The accommodations were well thought out. I camped on the beach atop a wooden deck. There was plenty of fire wood to keep the fire going. The sunset was amazing! The sound of the waves gently crashing ashore was so relaxing. I almost don't want to reccomend this place as I want to keep it as my hideaway, but such a superior experience must be shared. Thanks Howard for sharing your place.

Amazing!!

This site is unbelievably amazing! Super easy to find, just make sure to click the map for directions as the address on google maps list it as lakeshore drive instead of 10 mile road. When we arrived Howard introduced himself right away and was so helpful. Gave us a tour of everything, gave us goodie bags and had everything we could possibly need for camping. We brought our stuff on the beach and camped 3 days on Lake Superior. There is also a very cute campsite if you do not want to camp on the beach. The view is unbeatable. I was impressed with the location, site and Howard! Would come back again! Thank you so much for everything
