Rollinsville Adventure Camp is a 5 acre slice of the Rocky Mountains, perched at approximately 9,000 feet above sea level, in the shadow of the nearby Continental divide. The property features towering pine trees, beautiful aspens, and is surrounded by national forest on all sides. The campsites are all located within the safe confines of a gated, five foot fence that surrounds the property. The property once served as a Llama Ranch. We have repurposed the old llama loafing shed into a common area/ lounge area where any guests are welcome to make use of the space, which includes a 2 burner gas camp stove, a refrigerator, and a propane gas bbq grill.  There is also a gas fire pit on the patio at the Llama Lounge for guests to enjoy, as well as a hammock, hanging hammock chair, and a picnic table for guests to utilize while enjoying the common space of the Llama Lounge.

The land and area is as advertised. Happy to have found a place to camp during the busy July 4th break. Edward was avaliable to assist and the place was very nice!

Perfect place to tent camp for easy access to so many great hiking trails and beautiful drives to several picturesque lakes and creeks. The communal cook area/fire pit/fridge is a major plus for a car/tent camper and also good for meeting your neighbors.

Great hipcamp spot. Super easy to get in and out. Liked having the fire pit and BBQ. Spot 4 was the most level. Host was easy to communicate with. No cell service. Wifi provided by host was pretty good. Portable toilets could use better service and perhaps running water closer, but certainly better than most!!

Site 5 - Rollinsville Adventure Camp
We had a nice respite away from people and there was no one else at the camp. There was plenty of space, but the entire area was rather disheveled. Looked like no one had camped there in a long time. Grass around the campsite was knee to thigh high and the camp-stove and small refrigerator in the common area were covered in layers of dust, but we didn't need to use those so it wasn't an issue. We saw our first black bear during our trip and didn't at all mind the chain link fencing around the property.
