Lone Rock Retreat is 50 acres of meadow, forest, ponds, and rocky inclines at the base of the 9,000 ft Lone Rock. You can explore it all in any season. The ponds are stocked with fish and ready for paddle boarding, paddle boating, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing on the dock. Walking/hiking trails are plentiful throughout the property. Find a little peace close to civilization but not too close.

The pond was amazing for the kids!
We enjoyed labor day weekend at Marty's property with 4 families. 7 adults, and 9 kids under 10. Everyone had a blast. The pond was the big hit, with the kayak, tin boat and paddle boat. The kids played in the pond all day, all three days :) 45 minutes from Denver, a great, easy camp spot for families.

Had a great time camping on Marty's property. The views are beautiful and the little pond is nice to paddle around in on the toys that Marty provided. It was easy to find and the directions were very clear.

Beautiful but close to highway
Beautiful location and Marty was very kind and responsive! However the location was extremely close to a highway (estimated less than 1000 ft away). There was road noise on a continual basis including throughout the evening into early morning hours. This may not be as loud for RV/campers however it was noticeably noisy as a tent camper and made it difficult to sleep. Would recommend if looking to just be outside, but not if you’re looking for a quiet getaway from the city noise.

An excellent getaway with an uninhibited view of Lone Rock. We camped with a 30’ toyhauler and had no problem finding level ground. Great fire pit to enjoy a sunset by.

Nice little lake on the front of the property, not too far from Red Rocks where we saw a show.

Access to a large private pond/small lake with a nice dock. Great for a weekend getaway if you want to just hang at your site or venture into town. The three camp sites are in one lot, which isn't too different from any other campground, but you are closer and with fewer people around, if the mix isn't right, it could be less desirable, but still workable.
