Willow Creek Camp North
My wife, dog and I really enjoyed our time on Tim and Valentina’s land. The site itself was beautiful and right on the creek, which was running like a river due to recent spring rains (great for cold plunges but not swimming at this time of year). The fire pit, picnic table, and outhouse were all in great condition, and the firewood provided allowed us to have plenty of fire to keep warm in the mornings and the evenings. Our dog loved how much room he had to roam and play (he played fetch with his frisbee all day long). We didn’t end up exploring the entire southern part of the property, but if we made our way back here some time we would definitely do so. Taking the route to that site with the planks and cables was a little too treacherous for our dog, so next time we would take the road route around the main house. Stargazing at night was fantastic, which made us really happy before heading to the tent for sleep. All in all, this was a fun place to camp, and we appreciated Tim and Valentina as hosts. Thanks for everything!

Lovely creek side camping
I camped at the South site that requires 4x4 or high clearance AWD to access. Amazing site by the creek and awesome rock formations. Just me and my dog, but about 100 feet from parking area is a larger flat site under pines that could accommodate more tents. Fire pits work great with plenty of fire wood provided. Got down to 35 degrees at night, so be prepared. If you venture onto the rocks around the creek, which you definitely should, be very careful, water socks or similar would be best if there is any moisture. Creek area also has a still beach area that I can’t wait to use during warmer months, though my Springer spaniel had no such reservations lol.

Favorite camp spot!
Valentina greeted us when we arrived and was very accommodating. She led us down to the site and offered to shuttle our supplies as one of our vehicles wasn’t 4 wheel drive. The site itself is unbelievable. It is completely private, right next to the water, large, clean and very well maintained. There are easy hiking trails with even better scenery. We would love to try the south camp site next time to see both but will definitely be back!

We had such a great time during our trip. The camp site was located right beside a beautiful creek and was very private. The road to the campsite was a little steep for our car, so Valentina and Tim let us borrow their ATV to transport our camping gear and get back and forth from our car. Valentina was also readily available whenever we had a question and provided us with the correct directions to their property when Google maps led us the wrong way. Before we left, Tim helped us to load up our camping gear and took us on a little hike around the property and shared about the history of the land. Our dogs were free to roam around our campground without being leashed, which was awesome. The property is beautiful, the hosts were amazing, and the little town and surrounding areas were worth the drive. Highly recommend this campsite to others and plan to return in the future!

Willow Creek Camp North
Amazing
We loved how secluded the camp spot was! Valentina said there were other campers but we never saw them. Camping right next to the water was amazing and you can hear the stream at night which was so pleasant. It rained on us (no biggie). Valentina was very sweet to ask if we need a tarp. She was very attentive when we arrive because we had a hard time finding it due to arriving around 10pm
