156 private acres of off-grid heaven, or Paradise, rather. Nestled into the protected National Forest, privacy abounds, and an opportunity to reconnect with nature emerges, whether that's down in the forest meadows under the tree canopy, up on our knoll with 360 degree views and epic stargazing, or next to our babbling creek dotted with natural plunge pools. Wake up naturally with our roosters and filtered sunlight, then enjoy what this area has to offer (hiking, road biking, mountain biking, wine tasting).Camp on our knoll with 360 views of the National Forest and epic stargazing. Walk down to the creek to clean off or use our off-grid hot water shower (both ~10 min walk/hike from site). Flush toilet and wifi also available (same 10 min walk/hike). Data signal is strong at this site, however. Locally, there is great hiking, including a difficult 7mi. trail that goes through the property up to the ridgeline, rewarding you with expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands National Park (an epic day trip from the property - 1 hr drive + 75 min ferry. Wine tasting abounds 30-60 minutes from the property (please drink and drive responsibly), so do all of the Santa Barbara and Gaviota Coast beaches with excellent beginner surfing. Mountain and road biking are good in the area - you can leave directly from the property. This is a highly private site that is a 10-minute walk from anything/anyone. Access to this site is by foot. Small amounts of heavy gear (e.g. cooler, camp stove) can be shuttled by our property manager in our electric Ranger.
