Casita---
We had a great stay at the Casita! What a really unique and magical place. Our Host was very informative and provided great arrival instructions with tips on how to best settle into the space.
The Casita is off a private road on a private winery, nestled into the hills and surrounded by nature. There's a view of the vineyard from the Casita and the Host left us a complementary bottle of wine as well as extra bottles for purchase if we wanted!
The Casita itself is SO cool. It's got incredible retro charm but with all the comforts of today. After a long day of exploring it was nice to be able to relax and watch a movie (strong wifi signal too!), and in the morning there was delicious pour over coffee. There is heat (which we used and it kept us super comfy) as well as AC for the hotter months. In the morning we were greeted by two very adorable pups - a german shepherd and a poodle! They belong to the Host and they like to come up to say hi to guests, but our Host let us know well in advance that if we preferred not to see the dogs, he'd keep them inside during our stay.
I wish we could have stayed longer to use more of the outside space at the site. There's a nice porch where you can sit and enjoy the space with a glass of wine or morning coffee, and a fire pit for s'mores making and/or campfire tales. Hopefully we'll be back for another stay in the future!
