Learn more about this land: Enjoy our quiet mountain with a short walks to fresh springs. No need to pack your own water! Beautiful views of Whitetop Mountain, Mount Rogers and Grayson Highland State Park are brag worthy! Feel free to hike in our rhododendron stands or straight up the ridge for an incredible view! Camp sites includes a fire pit, spring water, picnic table and a dishwashing station can be available at your request. Please be advised that 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended to get from Schoolhouse Road up to campsite parking. If you do not have 4WD or AWD, you may have the option of parking off of Schoolhouse Rd and we can help haul your gear in. Campers must carry out their trash. Check in is required by 8pm.

When you get settled, enjoy a walk down to Five Tree Spring and continue your hike up and around the old logging road for a magnificent view of Mt. Rogers and White Top Mountain!

Meadow Tent Site- no drive ups

Second time camping here, and it didn’t disappoint! Hosts are super nice, location is perfect for access to the local mountain trails, and there’s a good variety of campsites. Heavy rain followed me both times I’ve camped here, and both times Stacy offered options for me so I could enjoy my stay and still safely camp/pack up/get my car out easily. Dozed off this year (before the sun even set) listening to a pair of owls call to each other amongst raindrops on the tree leaves around me. Can’t recommend this spot enough.
