Loved this spot! It was right next to the river so we were able to hear it all night and it was fantastic! Although it’s on a road with maybe 2 houses it was pretty secluded. Very well kept! Tons of trees so I could put tie up for my dog between them. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make a fire due to the rain but there were two great spots for a fire and many spots to buy firewood around! Great spot, would love to camp here again.

Very private and quiet. I saw blue ghost fireflies and fireflies galore at night and the sounds of the creek was a perk. (Just bring bug spray)

Such a delightful campsite! We stayed here during our visit to Grayson Highlands and were so happy about our stay. Very spacious plot of land right outside the state park. And having the stream right next to us was the cherry on top. Would absolutely stay here again.

Easy to find and offers a nice wooded spot by a creek. Very quite and secluded but very close to Grayson Highlands State Park (15 min) and Greyson Highlands general store (5 min). Store offers food, supplies, and great music!
No bathroom or shower. Privy needs some work, but it's useable. Would stay here again!

This is a great spot! The sound of the creek and the peaceful surroundings are hard to beat. You have a choice of two firepits, one of which is right next to the creek! The site is easy to access but offers plenty of privacy and quiet solitude. It is convenient to Grayson Highlands State Park, which offers excellent hiking and beautiful views. I would definitely camp here again. This is one of the best HipCamps I have visited so far!

Fantastic campsite. Creek access was awesome. Huge site. Plenty of space for my groups two SUVs and a large tent with plenty of space to throw a frisbee as well. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Especially if your trip include Grayson Highlands as you are so close to the park.

This site was beautiful, peaceful and pretty private! 2 camp fire spots ( 1 in the upper level area and one by the creek) we enjoyed the campfire by the creek and our dog enjoyed the upper area for some fetch. It was also a great spot to sit and watch the stars at night! It was only about a 15 minute drive the Grayson Highlands State Park for some fun hiking. Will be coming back to lay in the creek for the summer!

Great location, right down the road from the state park and there’s also a nice little general store 5 minutes away. The fire pit was great and outhouse was perfectly serviceable. Would definitely camp here again.

A Hipcamp gem that we will definitely be back to! There were multiple flat spots available for tent camping with a group and two large fire pits. The site was extremely quiet and close to Grayson Highlands. You can easily beat the weekend crowds with the short commute up to the state park. An awesome perk! There is also a beautiful creek running through (which was a hit with our dogs) and the site is tree covered which helps protect from windy tent camping nights. We loved our time at this site and was a great nature reset.

Very nice area for tent camping. We set up next to the creek and everything was exactly as described. Quiet, private, with a short drive to Grayson Highlands State Park.

Great spot near Grayson Highlands Park, if you can't get a spot in the park. We didn't spend much day time hours there, as the park was our main attraction. It was a quiet place to sleep, and the brook provided an opportunity for freshening up. Didn't see anyone or hear any cars go by. Nice and tucked out of the way. The diner in Volney was a sweet place to get breakfast when we didn't feel like cooking.

This is a beautiful area and a great campsite for someone with four wheel drive and traction boards. We arrived after what had been some rain this week, and immediately our vehicle got stuck, we realized right away we wouldn’t be able to get out the next morning if we stayed, so tried to get out but ended up needing to contact James (who responded immediately!) to have his neighbor come by with a tractor to get us out. I’m sure it rarely happens, but be aware when booking that if there has been rain you may face some issues. Gravel added to the campsite could help improve this but would take away from the rustic setting. So thankful for James quick reply and his wonderful neighbor who was able to help us out!

The Corner at Spencers' Highland
We loved how private it was, even though it's along the road. Only 2 vehicles came by throughout our 3 night stay. The creek was fun for our son, and the land perfect for a game of fetch for our dogs. The property is a super close drive to Grayson Highlands SP and a couple convenience stores within 10 minutes too. The pit toilet was fine (seems mice enjoy it too!) and the fire pit well placed. Our 16' camper fit great. We hope to come back this summer!

We love this site! Second time a group of us have been out there and would definitely go back. Secluded, quiet, and open space surrounded by trees and a beautiful creek running thru! Bonus is on a clear night, there are SO many stars!

Awesome tent camping spot near Grayson Highlands State Park. We camped here and day hiked in the park. The campsite has the creek running through it for the sound and stargazing is incredible. The lot is right on Mill Creek Ln so it doesn’t feel very private, but not a single car drove by during our stay. I’d highly recommend.

This is an awesome hip camp - the favorite one we have stayed at so far. The site is beautiful and is right next to a creek. There is plenty of space and the property is next to the state park so it is really easy access to great trails! We loved it and will definitely be back

Quiet and private site adjacent to state park land. Plenty of space for a few vehicles and multiple tent sites. The stream is nice, especially at night while you sleep. The tall trees make it nice and shady throughout the day so it stays cool. About 20 minutes to drop-ins for kayaks on the New River. Great site. Thanks.

This was a great site. Close to Grayson Highlands S.P. and Mt. Rogers trailheads. The site is past the inhabited portion of a dead-end gravel road so no through traffic. Plenty of flat ground for tents, an established fire pit, and pit toilet. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Site was a nice clear spot near a gravel road (not a lot of traffic) with the few things we were looking for - a fire pit, outhouse, and creek nearby. Secluded with good enough privacy and close enough to Grayson Highlands and nearby wilderness areas.

Excellent two nights in a quiet and secluded location. Tent camped with my son and showed up to firewood left near the fire ring, and lots of space. Super close to Grayson Highlands and I had some cell service on AT&T. Would definitely camp here again!

Our 3rd stay at The Corner, a pleasure as always! We had 3 perfectly quiet nights and perfect weather. Even though it has been dry Mill Creek still had plenty of water to gather for washing up and dousing the fire. We love this spot!
