This semi-remote island is unique because it’s only accessed by boat or ferry. No cars allowed! Located off the southwestern tip of St. Albans Point in Lake Champlain’s ‘Inland Sea,’ it’ll take you ten minutes by ferry to get here from nearby Kamp Kill Kare State Park. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a lively scene of fellow boat-goers, who often stop over here for some good ol' day exploration.
The beautiful shores of this island make for spectacular waterside hikes, especially at sunset. Scan the rocky beach for the perfect skipping stone and see who can get the most skips. Unfold a camping chair, kick back and whip out a good book while a gentle breeze rolls in
