Old Barn Studios is located on 20 acres of mixed pasture, woods and riparian area. It includes a trout pond big enough to float kayaks on. The actual stay is in a rv which has three tip out, open air, queen beds ( so much like a tent,) the RV has a full bath and kitchenette. Most of the living space is outside. There is a picnic table and fire pit. The Old Barn is home to a range of farm animals — sheep, goats, llama, chickens,dog,cats . It also offers two craft studios where classes are sometimes held in spinning, weaving, felting and other craft arts. The owner lives on site and welcomes new visitors personally.

Great Location - Great Host!

We stayed in Susan’s RV on her property. It was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Nothing beats the morning views! Susan was so welcoming and humble. 10/10 Highly Recommend - Will be returning next year!

Amazing Host!!!!

Susan was undoubtedly the best host I have had for both HipCamp and AirBnb stays. She had everything ready for us upon arrival and was the sweetest person. She made sure to say hi to us and would come over to chat whenever we were around. She gave us a tour of her property and introduced us to all of her lovely farm animal friends :) I would 110% recommend this stay to anyone passing through Hamilton!! Everything was perfect. My group and I now plan on coming back yearly! Thank you again to Susan for being so accommodating and nice!

Old Barn Onsite RV

Everything about our stay on Susan's land was so special. Her property is beautiful...it's wide and open and sits at the edge of a wooded area so you get the feeling of Montana's big sky as well as the cozy comfort of trees. I wish we could have stayed longer. The RV sits by a little pond and Susan offered us kayaks to float around...and a bonfire area at night...both of which we wish we had time to take advantage of. It was also so nice to be amongst her animals...cats, dog, chickens, goats, horse, llama and plenty of sheep. Inside, the RV has everything you'll need, including bathroom, shower and heater for cold Montana nights. Susan herself is such a warm and welcoming host and she was definitely part of what made this such a special stay. Oh! One last thing...the location...it is near so many great hikes and less than an hour from Missoula. Perfect.
