I was shocked to see just how beautiful Ryan's land was. Pictures do not do it justice and I would definitely recommend visiting.

Stillwater Getaway was easy to find and park near our stay. The Canteen made it easy to prepare meals and clean up. Our dogs enjoyed the lake and nearby trails. It was a wonderful respite for all

This campground was so fun!! They had kayaks and canoes for any campers to use, the host Ryan is super helpful and friendly, and we ended up staying an extra night to attend Corn Dog Days at the local Stillwater Bar. 10/10 cant miss staying at this point

We had a great night camping here. We wish we had brought our dog— he would have been right at home! We loved having access to the lake and having boats to use. Thanks Ryan!

Feeling unsafe.

Camp host Ryan greeted us then put his hand on my shoulder not for seconds but lingered. I felt uncomfortable and stepped back. He then asked us to park our van right next to his office. I asked where is the camp site #2 is and he said that is #2. I politely asked if I can not park next to his office and he said what’s wrong with it. Eventually he allowed us closer to the lake away from his office and his windows. Next morning I saw his own car parked at the place he asked us to park. I don’t think that was appropriate and it made me feel unsafe. He was heavily intoxicated. I am not new to camping and I am a nurse. I don’t know why he doesn’t know NOT to touch female camper at 11 pm checking in. I would think that is common sense. I would not recommend this camp site to female campers.

Ryan hooked us up with a remarkably beautiful view next to the water! The site was great with an outhouse near by and a bath house to use. He has a few really nice dogs that my son loved too. We had a great time visiting whitefish and glacier while staying here. He also told us about a place to get burgers right down the road and we ended up there everyday. We really had a great time with this location as our home base.

Ryan is an excellent host and very welcoming. He shared some of the history of the camp which we found interesting. We really liked the "Always Open" club house/kitchen with many games and books.

We loved our stay at Campsite 1! Ryan was so accommodating and helped us move around our reservation last minute, even over the busy festival weekend. He had great in town recommendations and tips about the area. Our site had a tent platform, wifi access, a communal fire pit and a bathhouse equip with towels and some toiletries. Plus hot coffee in the morning! We’re planning to make another trip to explore Glacier and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend

Ryan’s place is honestly such an amazingly awesome place. He has everything you need and way more. It’s super chill, low-key, and just a really good spot to kick back and enjoy. If you’re the kind of person who’s into peace, quiet, and good energy, this is 100% the place. Ryan nailed it.

Ryan was super friendly and communicative. The camp was dog friendly. The location was ideal for accessing Whitefish bike trails and coming back to a peaceful camp on the lake. We lucked out and had it all to our selves making it a wonderful camping trip!

Super friendly host and nice campsite. Bathroom is clean. Canvas tent can be little chilly at night so use an extra blanket.

Honestly haven’t had fun like this in awhile! Ryan was the coolest dude. A great vibe and a super fun campground. The lake is right there and this had the vibe of camping in the summer. I felt like a kid here. Showers were great and the common area was nice. Made me feel absolutely welcomed and would love to come back. Bring bug spray though if you don’t like mosquitoes. Also the WiFi doesn’t reach across the entire campground but it’s camping so I’m not expecting to use my electronics too much anyways (why they call it getaway). So much fun here. Thanks Ryan!

Comfy beds with extra blankets! Fire wood was provided and the host even started the fire for me and the kids. The mess hall was great for cooking breakfast and for the kids to play games during the day and night. Bathhouse was super clean and well equipped with towels and shampoo. Great stay overall!
