The 194-acre lake offers liberal leisures, such as swimming, fishing, and boating. If you’re lookin’ to chillax, catch some rays or pack a picnic on the sandy shores. Ample camping is available just a hop, skip, and a jump from the water. Choose from tent, RV and equestrian sites, plus a handful of cabins available to rent. The full-time naturalist at the Forest Education Center can give you the woodland what’s what—and then you can test out your newfound know-how on a hike! Five trails weave through the park, ranging from “saunterable” to “hoofin’ it.” Mountain bikers and horseback riders can also get at it on designated trails.
