Until 2019, this farm was in the same family since 1889. It has been a working farm since that time. In 2019, our family purchased the farm and continue to operate it much the same way. Our family is devoted to history and preserving the essence of the past. You may very well see us pull up in one of our antique cars to greet you! Our neighbors are friendly and many are also small farmers. You can't see their farms from camp, but don't be surprised to hear roosters crowing, cattle mooing, and donkeys braying in the distance. Our farm is surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest, so you'll see and hear plenty of wildlife too. At various times during the summer, you may find wild blackberries, elderberries, and black raspberries growing right in camp!

Beautiful and well maintained!
Both campsites are private and well maintained, even in January! Nathan stopped in to bring us firewood. He told us all about the farm space and was great to chat with. The outhouse was clean and lit at night…I didn’t expect that perk! The camp sites were easy to find with the directions provided; they were close to the road but hidden and we didn’t hear any cars overnight. Lots of cool nighttime sounds (owls, etc) and the night sky was incredible for stargazing! Added bonus, we woke up to several inches of snow! We’ll definitely be back to this gem of a spot!

Dog friendly
Such a lovely little secluded spot! Sweet little creek and the port-a-potty was the best ever! The owner went through great lengths to make sure we had everything we needed.

Camping under the stars!
We loved tent camping on Nathanael’s land. He met us upon arrival to show us to the spot and had our firewood waiting for us which was perfect! The ladies loved having the toilet! We would go back and camp again!

Nature at its best
A place to enjoy nature! Fall asleep under a full sky of stars listening to the Coyote pups yipping and the owl in the distance. Great place to sit around a fire in peace and privacy. Would definitely go back!

Camping with hound dogs
Nathan was very attentive to our needs and went over and above any expectation we had to make us feel at home and welcome on our stay. His plans for the campsites are going to make that place a five star cam ground and I can't wait to go back. My dogs loved all the new scents and the wildlife. Keep up the work on the campground. Can't wait to get back.

It was a nice place to stay unfortunately though we had some camper next to us that were not great. Loud rude language. Fighting early in the morning. But other than that it was nice. The host was very friendly and helpful. Just would of liked a little more privacy.

It’s so exciting to find such raw camp sites in this area, this place is that & more!! not only was it secluded, you really felt that pure camping serotonin! it’s the little things that matter, the host had mentioned their still new at this and I am so so excited to come back over time and see what else this host has to offer because he’s definitely got something special going on out here, definitely check it out!!

Overall great location for camping, loved our campsite, very optimistic for the property with the upcoming expansions. Close to some cool hiking locations. Made a night hike to the top of the property, which was a really cool in its own way, especially at night! The host, Nathaneal was more than welcoming and very helpful our entire stay. Get a dozen eggs, farm fresh and some of the best you will have. Would definitely stay there again.

Watch for poison ivy
The site is nice and quiet and the host was very friendly. They provide water in a clean cooler and there is a new privy on site. However, there is poison ivy along the edge of the woods and interspersed through the grassy area of the site. This makes it obviously a less than ideal place to stay as I was walking around the site in sandals before I noticed.

Easy to find escape (fresh eggs!)
This was a lovely little spot that felt off the beaten path while still being about 10 to 15 minutes from the interstate! The host, Nathan, was very friendly and told us the history of the property going back to the 1920s. They also have an option to order fresh eggs from the family farm, which were delicious with breakfast! It was easy to find but once you pull in you are surrounded by trees and it really felt like we had escaped the world. The campground was nice and level and clean, with a cute wooden covered portopotty, a firepit, picnic table, and a lovely restored antique bench to sit and enjoy the sunrise! We even saw some hawks flying overhead. This property has a great energy and we left feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommend.
