5645 Bay Boulevard is 2 blocks off US 19 in Port Richey Florida. The property is 1 mile east of the Gulf Of Mexico. There are 5 restaurants on the water that are a short ride bicycle, golf cart or 1 wheel ride away. One is a Hooters. Within 2 blocks is a Dunkin Donuts, Culvers and Hardees. Walmart is accessible without driving on 19. If you need fuel there is a WaWa and Walmart station. The Veteran's Expressway is a short drive east which makes a drive to the Tampa Fairgrounds less than 1 hour. We have a 50 amp covered full hook up spot, a 50 amp with water spot and 6 plus boondocking spots. We have a place to dump and refill the water tank. We aren't fancy, just very convenient.

It’s an ideal location to explore St Pete as we are right between the beaches and downtown (5 miles to St Pete beach, 4 miles to downtown -$10 Uber ride), Sarasota and/or Tampa. Ours is an urban spot based on ease, safety and location, not a wilderness "experience"
We have a paved circular driveway overlooking our beehives, henhouse and seasonal garden where you’ll find a table with chairs and plenty of space to cookout and enjoy a quiet evening with a great sunset by the blowing bamboo.
This is one of South St Pete’s oldest neighborhoods- it surrounds an active former PGA golf course and lively country club. It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby.
There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed!
The Pinellas Trail is just a short bike ride away too and can lead you to downtown. It is a cyclists favorite!

They will also leave "landmines" on the pathways, so be sure to watch your step. We do our best to keep everything clean and tidy, but chickens abhor tidiness. And will go out of their way to unleash chaos at every turn. Still, we love the little bird brains and they are an entertaining addition to the grounds. They're also the reason we ask that all pets, and children under 12, be left at home. We thank you for your understanding and help in preserving the safety of our flock, and as thanks, please help yourself to any fresh eggs in the chicken coop. This is only a brief description, there's so much more to see on-site, but you'll also want to make your way out into the city (15 minute drive) for some of the unique flair St Pete is known for. Check out the Salvadore Dali museum and see his famous surrealist paintings. Visit some of the best beaches in the country, like St Pete Beach (15 minutes drive due West). Wander the Fort Desoto historical park area. Or Stop by the Morean Arts Center and see live glass blowing demonstrations, or just walk along Central Ave to soak up the cool vibe and rich city art scene. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites.
Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants.
Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too.
Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand.
Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas.
The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish).

1 night at St Pete Micro Farm
My stay at the St. Pete Micro Farm residence was peaceful, relaxing, and I will definitely be booking this place again! The hosts were responsive, helpful, and it was so obvious how much love and care they put into the tiny house; it was extremely clean, well-stocked with the necessary overnight goodies, and smelled very fresh. Their garden was beautiful and offered more tranquility than I could have ever expected to experience in an urban setting. Every night I fell asleep to the soft sounds of locusts and birds, and awoke to the rustling leaves as they moved in the warm breeze. I left the micro-farm feeling so rejuvenated, I will be visiting St. Pete again just to stay here!!

1 night at St Pete Micro Farm
Everything I hoped for in a micro-farm stay—and more! The tiny house is incredibly well laid out and had everything I needed. It feels cozy and thoughtfully designed without feeling cramped at all. I had such a good night’s sleep in the super cozy bed!
The property itself is beautiful and clearly has so much thought and care put into it. I especially loved learning about the micro farm and watching the chickens—it’s such a peaceful little oasis. The location is also the perfect balance: tucked into a quiet neighborhood close to parks and walking trails, but only about 10 minutes from downtown St. Pete. You get the feeling of being surrounded by nature while still having easy access to everything in town. I would absolutely stay again!

1 night at St Pete Micro Farm
The accommodations were awesome. I chose the tiny house, which was a win. It's cozy, super comfortable, and laid out really well. In addition, it looks out on the flock of cute chickens. Endless entertainment.
The hosts, Bill & Steph are so great. Not only are they friendly, the gave me the best recommendations for cool local spots. FYI, if you like wings and don't hit Mullets, you're doing yourself a disservice.
My schedule didn't allow me to extend, but I found out that Bill was hosting a fire handling workshop shortly after I left! This place is so cool! I'm definitely coming back for one of those sessions.
Long story short, my experience here was exceptional. 5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

Hands-down, one of the best weekends we’ve ever had! From the peaceful, relaxing views to paddleboarding, spotting manatees, and ending our nights with s’mores around the fire pit, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect.
The location couldn’t have been better—private and peaceful while still being close to everything we needed. It was the perfect getaway for our whole family, but we could also see it being an incredible spot for a romantic couples’ retreat.
We’re already planning our next trip and genuinely can’t wait to come back. This place made for such a special weekend, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

We had a great stay at Shawn and Amie's . The property was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, with full hookups and a secure gated entrance. We really appreciated the privacy and quiet atmosphere. One of the best perks was the complimentary kayaks with easy access to the river. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We will definitely stay here again!

Fun place, cool people. I was naked pretty much from the moment Jessica welcomed me in, to the time I left 3 days later. I expected just a one night stay over on my journey, but made friends and didn't want to leave. Great experience. The solar lighting at night gives the grounds around the pool a great vibe. Karaoke party Saturday night was a blast. I'll be back!

Jessica was friendly and helpful from check-in through the stay. The pool and outside showers were clean and in good condition. The pool table inside a recreation building was in excellent shape.
My parking spot had little room for maneuverability for a 30’ class A.. I had to park head in to be able to reach the power outlet.
Then I had to back out the same way I went in until I reached a spot where I could turn around.

About
Just off the coast of Tampa, this place hasn’t really changed much in the last few hundred years. Although everyone still calls it an island, a hurricane filled in the Dunedin Pass in 1985. It's now possible to walk to the island from neighboring North Clearwater Beach. You can also catch a ferry from the mainland.
The beach here is out of this world: ribbons of perfect white sand framed by turquoise water. In 2008, it was rated the best beach in America by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, AKA “Dr. Beach”. Dr Leatherman is a coastal ecologist by day but spends his free time rating America’s beaches. Receiving “beach of the year” is a high honor; he’s seen a lot of beaches.
There are miles of waterways crisscrossing the mangrove forest. A kayak is a perfect way to explore these channels and can be rented from the visitor center. There’s also a three-mile hiking trail that winds through the interior of the island. See if you can spot snow-white egrets or speckled ospreys up in the pines.
If one day at Caladesi isn’t enough and you brought in your own boat, dock at the marina and stay overnight. You’ll wake up to a deserted island paradise—so worth it.
