IMPORTANT NOTES: Follow directions to avoid getting stuck in sand. Located 20 Minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, Secluded and private. Plenty of area to set up tents. There is also a block cabin and 1950s RV on site you can explore and sleep in if you like. Property has electric and water utilities and a private bathroom with a shower as well as multiple outdoor showers and water access There is currently no heat and air hooked up to block cabin or RV so use as weather permits. There is also a 9 hole frisbee golf course leading to the property next to it which I stay in. Your welcome to use as you wish. Beautiful area. Great views. Close to town but in the middle of nowhere also. Any questions feel free to askSunlight Camp is a great spot for anyone looking for a unique experience. Property has off grid power and city ran water. There is a Vintage RV on site from the 1950's with running cold water in kitchen. Also has power and heat and A/C. The RV has 2 full size beds ready to be used. Sheets, pillow cases and blankets washed in between every visit. RV also has mini fridge and convection cook top with 1 pan with lid and other kitchen amenities. In addition there is a recreation cabin on site with a couch and coffee table and Smart TV. The Cabin also has electric and a mini split with Heat and A/C. The Cabin is also where the only bathroom is located. The bathroom is small but offers a standard working toilet and a shower that has hot and cold water. RV and Cabin both have smart tvs you can stream from using Wifi provided. In addition there is a kids play area, a large metal stock tank your welcome to fill and soak in, mostly enjoyed in hotter months or in cooler months if your brave enough. There is also plenty of areas to set up tents for tent camping. Please keep tents inside fenced in areas. The site is on 5 acres and your welcome to explore. There are some frisbee golf holes set up outside the fenced area if you enjoy some frisbee golf. Property has 2 outdoor showers as well, a charcoal grill, outdoor sink and water spickets and 2 hoses as well. Great place to relax and get a perfect view of the stars in the night sky. There is also outdoor seating and one fire pit. No additional fires allowed. Property does have off grid power and is ran off of batteries at night. If used heavily throughout the day it may limit the power you have at night. If any questions feel free to ask. Thanks! -Daniel

Sunlight Vintage Rv and Tent Camp

It was a unique spot that let our group have a private site. Two things were a bit meh during our stay. The firewood provided was scraps from construction that didn’t burn the best, and the odd yellow van on the site was a little creepy. Overall, it was a good spot for a short weekend trip.

Perfect home

Our stay at Sunlife was perfect. Directions were clear and made a lot of sense when driving out there. The location itself was perfect for what we were looking for. The luxury of a flush toilet, running water and some basic electricity while camping was nice. Fenced in are was great for privacy and to contain the kids. Everything was was clean and simple and absolutely zero issues. We loved that it was close enough to town for some good eats and quick supplies while still feeling far enough away to feel like camping. We will definitely be back to use this as a home base for the area.

Sunlife Tent & RV site

Daniel’s site was absolutely perfect for our camping trip with friends (10) and our dogs (5). The large site was fully enclosed, which was perfect for our smaller dogs stay safe and secure. While most of our party stayed in tents, there was an RV with two beds that were perfect for those of us that were less prepared. There was also an awesome building onsite with a heater/ac and flushing toilet and shower. There was a convenient sink with potable water near the picnic table “kitchen” area. The lighting throughout the site was great, especially with the shorter days and it was nice having a power outlet to charger our electronics. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations, and everyone loved the site. We will definitely be back again!
