The site was not marked. It was super hard to find. The roads were muddy. No communications from the owner. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody.

Jarrett Stargazing
A nice spot to spend the night
Jarret Stargazing is a nice, quiet place. Because it's basically a vacant lot, there isn't a specific parking 'spot', but there's plenty of room and nothing to bother you but some (silent) windmills. I was there on a rather windy & rainy night, but other than the expected weather there were no surprises.

Jarrett Stargazing
Great Overnight Spot
A good little overnight spot up close to the windmill farm. Very scenic view out to the East.
Unfortunately the lot is a little overgrown, but made a nice place to do some night photography, stargazing, and get some peaceful sleep.
It's a few acre lot surrounded by a few other lots with houses on them, so I was a little concerned the neighbors would think I was squatting on the property, but no one bothered me.
Overall, I'd recommend it as a good spot to overnight and see the windmills, but it's not a destination spot.
If that's what you're looking for it's perfect but if you're looking to stay more than a couple nights I'd look somewhere else.
Jarrett Stargazing
a rest stop, nothing more
Interesting spot, a Tehachapi hilltop that is relatively isolated, windy and open. Probably good stargazing, but we were there on a cloudy night. About 15 minutes away from town and freeway. If you just need a spot to park your rig for the night, a
bd don't mind a few miles of climbing a lonely road, it will do. This site provides nothing but a place to park your rig.
