The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.

I'm located between Wisconsin Dells and Lyndon Station on a cozy little 3-acre corner lot at the intersection of Highway 12 and Oak Glen Circle.
The property is mostly wooded with beautiful white oak trees that I've done my best to preserve.
Each year, I welcome nesting bluebirds, robins, and ruby-throated hummingbirds. You'll also find several bird feeders that attract a wide variety of songbirds, along with squirrels, rabbits, and woodchucks that call the property home.
Please note: I do have neighboring homes nearby, but it's a very quiet neighborhood of homeowners with no noisy renters. Please also note that as the host, I do live on property. I offer you your privacy but on occasion you may see me outside doing random chores on property. Please also note I have 2 dogs. They are very friendly animals and it's very possible at some point during your stay they may introduce themselves to you. Thankyou for understanding.

Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. Brenda and her family, went way and beyond to make us feel like family. They are so kind and generous and always looking out for your needs. They have a wonderful daughter that goes out of her way as well showing her horses. They have kayaks to take on river. Which I’m going to come back to our favorite camping spot and go kayaking next visit. The other campers were so friendly and helpful as well. Fishing was a blast on a doc they have there . The trails are clean well kept up. It’s a very quiet retreat My sister and I loved it there. So come try out this place you won’t regret it. Thank you Brenda and Josh. We miss you guys already. We had a great experience here. Cary was a very responsive host and the site is spacious and quiet. We rented a teardrop camper out of curiosity and loved it- it was clean and cozy and featured battery-powered lights and ventilation fan. It also had a foam mattress so we didn’t even need to use our inflatable. Shower was nice and hot.

It was a special touch to be personally greeted by you and led to our campsite, ensuring we were familiarized with your amenities and property. The Alpha campsite was absolutely perfect. Being so close to the well-designed compost outhouse and parking lot made everything very convenient, and we especially appreciated the use of the wagon to haul our gear. The natural fencing and dedicated campfire pit gave us a wonderful sense of privacy and security, and we slept soundly every night surrounded by the sounds of nature. Thank you also for being so communicative and responsive via the Hipcamp messaging system throughout our stay. The highlight of our weekend was definitely the tour on Sunday. It was fascinating to explore your expansive property and learn about its history, your insights into agrotourism, and the wonderful community you are building. Terra Farms is a true hidden gem, and we loved how easy it was to visit the Madison farmer’s market in the morning and retreat back to a peaceful campfire by sunset. We really enjoyed this campsite! Directions were easy and on point. The host was quick and efficient at replying. The campsite was big enough for a large tent. Has plenty of firewood, minimal mosquitoes, shady area and it was quiet at night. Boat launch is across the street(walking distance) and we had fun fishing. The house nearby was closer than I thought but never saw them. Overall, it was a nice experiece!

Driving to the site wasn't a problem with my sedan but of course bring a more appropriate vehicle if you can.
There was a pair of geese that kept wanting to join us, we had to chase them away occasionally.
The house was comfortable and had electricity and a lamp. No railing on the top bunk is a valid concern but just don't fall.
We saw a beautiful partial eclipse and full moon!
Justin was friendly while respectful of privacy yet easy to contact.

I brought my 13-foot trailer to the land. It’s was lovely! We enjoyed the farm and the proximity to Madison as we were in town for a concert! We were greeted warmly and given a good understanding of the farm and where to walk if we wanted to venture out. Campers should note you will hear the road, there is no picnic table, depending on the wind you will smell the pigs, and the one composting toilet at times had a line or was out of amenities. We felt welcome to make the place ours, come and go, explore the farm, and we got help with the fire when we forgot newspaper/cardboard. Overall a great stay!
