Thank you Jolenta and Elliot for the amazing stay at Terra Growers this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed! It was a special touch to be personally greeted by you and led to our campsite, ensuring we were familiarized with your amenities and property. The Alpha campsite was absolutely perfect. Being so close to the well-designed compost outhouse and parking lot made everything very convenient, and we especially appreciated the use of the wagon to haul our gear. The natural fencing and dedicated campfire pit gave us a wonderful sense of privacy and security, and we slept soundly every night surrounded by the sounds of nature. Thank you also for being so communicative and responsive via the Hipcamp messaging system throughout our stay. The highlight of our weekend was definitely the tour on Sunday. It was fascinating to explore your expansive property and learn about its history, your insights into agrotourism, and the wonderful community you are building. Terra Farms is a true hidden gem, and we loved how easy it was to visit the Madison farmer’s market in the morning and retreat back to a peaceful campfire by sunset. I brought my 13-foot trailer to the land. It’s was lovely! We enjoyed the farm and the proximity to Madison as we were in town for a concert! We were greeted warmly and given a good understanding of the farm and where to walk if we wanted to venture out. Campers should note you will hear the road, there is no picnic table, depending on the wind you will smell the pigs, and the one composting toilet at times had a line or was out of amenities. We felt welcome to make the place ours, come and go, explore the farm, and we got help with the fire when we forgot newspaper/cardboard. Overall a great stay!
10/10 - would recommend! - due to its location near Madison, pristine property with good sites for renters and vans like ours, solid amenities and friendly, welcoming owners. Elliott is a hoot!

We enjoyed our stay on the farm. The campsite was private, easy to access and it was inspiring to be amidst a beautiful, bountiful organic farm. We hope to be back next time we’re in town.
This stay was amazing! After a long drive it was so fun to have an integrative experience on the farm. We helped Elliot harvest wood ear mushrooms and walked around the farm, visiting the chickens and pigs. The campsites themselves were very nice as well.
Elliot was an excellent host. He was easy to communicate, abd extremely responsive and accommodating. The farm is a beautiful piece of land that one can easily tell has so much love poured into it. Our spot was private and quiet, yet not far from the toilet & shower. We had a lovely campfire to round out our evening after a long day. I would recommend this spot to friends, and I look forward to returning.
I loved seeing the chickens here and the peaceful camping atmosphere especially at night. The fireflies in July were something magical. Elliot was really cool and a pleasure to chat with and showed me a tour of the land! There's also Ruby the dog that is super friendly and likes to say hello and grab some pets before continuing to roam. Highly recommend staying for a few nights if you can. Very peaceful farm and welcoming hosts. ^_^
Overall, we enjoyed our stay because we made the most of it. We were incredibly disappointed, however, because there were dogs off leash on the property constantly approaching our campsite, which upset our injured senior dog who we had on leash at all times as instructed. This is a safety issue.
The listing could be more accurate with distance from parking to possible tent sites and the firewood was not exactly organized or easily available. Finally, wagon access considering the distance to tent sites was imperative but the day we left they were filled with things and abandoned so packing up camp was quite taxing.

I thought this place was amazing, very private and intimate. The layout was really nice. Most of the campsites were pretty private. The owner was super nice and friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Super cool farm with great campsites. We loved our stay here and even had the chance to pick some cherries (some for us and some for them to sell!). There are lots of WWOOFers and dogs onsite, so it felt like a very lively, working farm.

The folks were very nice, but some of the trees need trimming around where we pulled in our small trailer. Also, the fire pit looked like it hadn’t been used in a couple years other than that it was fine.

We had a great stay! Beautiful property and my kiddos loved the chickens 🙂
Our stay at Terra Growers Farm was incredible! We were greeted by Elliot who gave us a great spot for our truck/roof top tent and then provided us some background on the farm. It was very peaceful and the perfect weekend escape! Prior to leaving for the trek home, we purchased a couple cartons of fresh eggs and a large bag filled with a variety of different lettuces. We had never camped at a farm prior to Terra Growers and I feel like this just unlocked a
I can’t say enough about our stay here! My boys fell in love with Ruby ( owners adorable and friendly dog), there were pigs for us to visit and chickens to feed. The property was beautiful, there was running water and a well kept outhouse. Our site was both private and walkable. You couldn’t ask for friendlier staff or owners. You simply MUST visit.

Camping at Terra Growers was an utter delight! I camped with my kiddo and the farmers were so kind to us - making sure that we had an accessible site and everything that we needed. The farm is a busy place! Folks were going about their business caring for the land and they always took a moment to smile & greet us. And the farm dogs! There were so many sweet pups and they were so gentle and friendly. In the morning, Elliot took us on a special kid tour to visit the chickens and pigs. Then we enjoyed farm fresh eggs for breakfast! We had a lovely visit and can’t wait to stay there again.
I feel they were having an off day. It’s our first time trying Hipcamp. For the $73 for one night of camping no electric site (pricey!) and 2 bundles of firewood pre delivered to campsite (since we were camping on motorcycles and hiking a few minutes to our site with all of our camping gear) All I expected was a campsite with firewood that we could settle in and the prearranged. Checking time of 2pm which they requested so they could escort us to our site. When we arrived 5 minutes late (the address Hipcamp has is 1/4 mile after the actual entrance so we had to find a place on a busy road to turn around) We waited about 15 minutes for them to escort us to the site, which was about 1 ft tall grass down the long path to the whole site, Elliott was very nice he had run out of weed wacker string so he had to wack the site, then a couple hours later when we inquired for our prepaid firewood we had to go get it ourselves in a cart. Normally no problem obviously camping is self serving. But we paid a lot of money for one night and at their specific advertising that they deliver bundles of firewood to our site, paid for that as well. Also as a result of the super long grass we had 2 dog ticks within the first hour of being there. I’ve been camping my whole life at least 3 times a year and never once had a tick. It’s just about land maintenance. Very nice people just a pretty disappointing experience for 3x the going rate for the same experience at a state park.

Magical farm, loved all the animals and secluded campsite. Had a shop on the farm selling eggs and other food items from their farm, if that’s your jam.
Such an adorable cozy and lovely area! The accommodations were nice and everything was well kept and clean and organized, lovely hosts as well! Would totally come back for sure during spring or summer season, came during harsh rain and wasn’t able fully explore and stay on site but was still such a nice experience! They also have a small shop and we were able to buy pumpkins! Very cute! Very lovely!

We really enjoyed our weekend here! We were close to Middleton, we enjoyed seeing the animals frequently on the farm, and the hosts were great communicators and very welcoming! There was a bit of walking (maybe 1/4 mile?) between the parking area and the camp site, which made setting up a bit difficult, but not terrible. Our site was private and spacious. There was definitely traffic noise, which we didn't mind and at night was like a white noise machine. The only bathroom was an outhouse, which my 10 year old struggled with, but that builds character right? :D
