Enjoy a stay at our rustic log cabins nestled 1/2 mile back from our residence in the peaceful woods of our family's 160-acre 5th generation farm. Summertime here is filled with long days of daylight to participate in various activities, or just hang out in the hammock. The warm evenings bring out fire flies, owls hooting, and stargazing while sitting around the campfire. The fall is a very special time of year here with the maples and oaks changing colors. There are two log cabins, one of which doubles as a place to cook maple syrup in the spring, a pavilion, and an odor-free "outhouse". We will only rent to one group at a time, you'll just have to choose which cabin site(s) you want. The group limit is 9 people. Hike the trails meandering through our woods, sit around the large campfire, take a relaxing nap in the hammock, watch sunset down one of the trails, or the many activities of hiking and mountain/fat tire biking groomed trails at nearby Levis/Trow Mound (our favorite), fishing, kayaking, horse trail rides, and The Highground Veterans Memorial Park (a must-see) is a mile up the road. The pavilion has a large log picnic table, Blackstone griddle, a charcoal grill, and refrigerator/freezer. The pavilion and Sugar Shack cabin have solar power. The Sugar Shack has a small gas stove and oven. The Cozy Cabin does not have solar power yet. All rentals include use of the pavilion and "outhouse". New in 2026 - outdoor shower with heated water. There is no WiFi but good cell phone service. Bedding is furnished for cabin stays. Wood and charcoal are furnished. Extra lawn chairs available. We have cornhole available and other yard games for use. All you really need to bring is food, beverages, towels & favorite book or game. We welcome your furry friends, but no more than 2 dogs. The property is mostly wooded with beautiful white oak trees that I've done my best to preserve. Each year, I welcome nesting bluebirds, robins, and ruby-throated hummingbirds. You'll also find several bird feeders that attract a wide variety of songbirds, along with squirrels, rabbits, and woodchucks that call the property home. Please note: I do have neighboring homes nearby, but it's a very quiet neighborhood of homeowners with no noisy renters. Please also note that as the host, I do live on property. I offer you your privacy but on occasion you may see me outside doing random chores on property. Please also note I have 2 dogs. Riverside Roost was perfect! The beauty of the campsite was only surpassed by Kelli’s hospitality! The farm fresh eggs, Amish style bread, and homemade jelly were a nice extra touch! We celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and Kelli gave us great restaurant recommendations. We were able to explore with the kayaks. Stargazing was amazing (when it wasn’t raining)! Above all, Kelli’s communication was excellent! Very private! Highly recommend!

Brenda and her family, went way and beyond to make us feel like family. They are so kind and generous and always looking out for your needs. They have a wonderful daughter that goes out of her way as well showing her horses. They have kayaks to take on river. Which I’m going to come back to our favorite camping spot and go kayaking next visit. The other campers were so friendly and helpful as well. Fishing was a blast on a doc they have there . We had a great experience here. Cary was a very responsive host and the site is spacious and quiet. We rented a teardrop camper out of curiosity and loved it- it was clean and cozy and featured battery-powered lights and ventilation fan. It also had a foam mattress so we didn’t even need to use our inflatable. Shower was nice and hot.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved having a unique place to camp at. Kelli made us feel welcome and all set up upon arrival. The farm fresh eggs and homemade jelly were a perfect add on. We had the most wonderful stay at the Old Red Mill Oasis. The pictures don’t do justice for all of the unique and beautiful things you will find on this property. There’s perfectly made trails with fun swings and benches to hangout at, a beautiful dam, amazing views, communal areas with games, large unique campsites, kayaking and tubing. The wonderful owner puts a lot of love and care into what he does and he truly thinks of everything. We stayed at the “Fallen Tree” site which has fun hammocks, easy access to the water, and a unique fallen tree that offers a lot of privacy. Whether you’re looking to relax and enjoy nature or have fun on the water with your family, this is the place to go! Bring your pets, our dog loved it too. Our stay for our anniversary will be one to remember and cherish. We will definitely be returning.

Weekend Trip to Bouressa Family Farm

I’d absolutely recommend camping here! I already can’t wait to come back. The privacy at site 2 was beyond anything we could ask for. Peace a quiet with only sounds of nature, cows and Mr Rooster lol. It was the most relaxing camping I’ve ever experienced. My boyfriend would like to keep this site a secret because it’s so amazing. lol. No joke. He says 0/10 recommended in hopes we will always have more access lmao. But in reality 1000/10 is truthful. Rachel texts us right away in the morning to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. Even Had all the essentials we could’ve used in case we needed it. Will absolutely be telling our camping friends about her property. And the cows of course 🤩

Weekend Trip to Lakeside Cozy Camp

We really enjoyed this campsite! Directions were easy and on point. The host was quick and efficient at replying. The campsite was big enough for a large tent. Has plenty of firewood, minimal mosquitoes, shady area and it was quiet at night. Boat launch is across the street(walking distance) and we had fun fishing. The house nearby was closer than I thought but never saw them. Overall, it was a nice experiece!

There is so much space to explore and the farm animals coming up to camp was the coolest thing. It was exactly what we needed for a girls trip. Tom was super nice and helpful. I would definitely love to come back for a family trip.
