Watch the deer come in the morning and evening and listen to our friendly, happy hens cluck away, not to mention all the beautiful song birds. We are happy to share our golf clubs and balls to hit a few into the field. Our kids love it! Tree coverage along with an open field. We cut the field to offer a walking trail to the prairie preserve. There is a tree surronded, very private tent site for tenters, but if you have a camper you can find a spot that works best for you! Welcome to comfort and relaxation! Exquisite rural setting in the river valley of the St Croix. Cozy up in this new barn apartment on our property that is close to beautiful parks and trails and many attractions and also a half hour from the twin cities. The space Designed with modern and well equipped spaces in mind, the entire second floor of the barn space is for our guests use including a full laundry room and fully equipped kitchen. For sleeping accommodations we have the main "owners" bedroom with a queen bed, the secondary bedroom has 2 twin beds. In the living room, the sofa has a pull-out queen mattress made of quality memory foam and bedding. In addition to or if preferred, we also have a Queen size double high air mattress with built in pump and also a twin double high mattress with built in pump and all bedding. The Loft at Strawberry Hill provides its guests fresh towels, linens, and many other necessities such as dish soap, dishwasher/laundry tabs, shampoo etc. Other things to note Balconies on both ends to enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Many trails for walking. Afton Alps resort and Afton State Park close by. Private fire pit and Adirondack chairs on premises for our guests outdoor use. Great restaurants in quaint downtown Hudson 8 min. away and historic Stillwater 15 min. away. For bed setup. We can sleep 6 comfortably or more depending on if the queen beds are shared. There is one queen bed in bedroom #1. Bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds. Then we have 2 nice tall inflatable mattresses with built in pumps and all needed bedding that set up in the living room. We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a great time. The dwelling is a well renovated and spacious loft in a barn at the back of a property. Although physically near other hobby farms, it felt secluded and private. It’s a short drive, about 20 minutes, north to Stillwater and all the amazing dining options or the same distance south to Afton State Park with its hiking trails.

The view of rolling hills, fields and forest was indeed lovely, especially with the Autumn colors. We loved the dark night sky, and could see all kinds of stars, milky way, meteors, satellites. The cabin is cozy and comfy and the beds were too! We enjoyed cooking over the fire outside, and using the propane griddle. Hosts are super warm, friendly and positive. Thank you for a lovely stay!

As advertised! An easy 10 min to downtown Stillwater. Nice, big open lot with plenty of space for our camper (26ft tag a long) and 2 tents as well as 2 dogs to run and do dog things. Hosts are extremely accomidating with all the requests that we made. Would definately camp with them again.

The owners were very friendly, and accommodating! They do reside on the property, but you wouldn’t know as they give you your privacy. They are friendly and were nice to chat with. There are trails that are mowed, which we walked. Veggies, sourdough, and jams for purchase. We will definitely return for another trip! Very nice spot, or and an area for games or just hanging out!

We were not comfortable camping so close to someone's house, and while they were there. We decided to leave early.
