Just 10 minutes from freeway access makes it a convenient stop for a quick overnight stay or weekend trip to explore the area. There is plenty to do in the area- So many yummy wineries, breweries, and restaurants. Fire wood, eggs, produce, and more is available for purchase on site. Along with renting a hammock during your stay. I give campers as much privacy as possible. I check in with you through Hipcamp when you book and then again after you arrive to ensure your needs are being met. If you would like to meet in person and share some of your favorite places to stay across the country, I would welcome that. I love to camp too! If you want the place to yourself, have a unique request, or have questions- please reach out! I like to say yes if I can. I have 3 rustic sites located on my 6 acre property. Each site is private, but you may see in the distance or hear others. Each site has its own firepit and picnic table, along with posts for hanging a hammock. Please be respectful during your visit. Keeping noise to moderate levels so other guests and neighbors can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Maximum of 4 people per site. Maximum of 2 dogs per site. Maximum of 2 vehicles per site.

Such a beautiful location, we felt so secluded! We saw deer, an eagle and a little downy woodpecker gave us a show on a tree just outside the screened in porch which was a favorite spot for our morning coffee and to listen to the rain. So peaceful . The water crossing was indeed a challenge with glacier cold water I decided to take a wrong step on a slippery rock and do a face plant in the cold water! With pretty much only my pride hurt (and a video my hubby happened to be taking of me at the time) it definitely made a memorable trip! We would definitely come back! And I were not to step now! ;)

This was a great fall trip! We had an excellent time in the primative pasture campsite, in view of the rams. We explored all around the farm and were only 20 minutes away from interstate park. The icecream and other goodies in the barn shop were great! We spent lots of time with the alpacas and sheep, the hosts were super friendly as well. We heard cranes, coyotes, and moles milling around at night!

Such a great retreat from the city! I used the provided kayak for a sunset paddle and the firewood was at site as well. Gorgeous sunset and even better sunrise! Quiet, private, and the view was stunning. I took a bunch of photos to make oil paintings. Bob Ross! Haha The host was so great helping me back out on my tear drop’s maiden voyage. Nice guy! Thanks Adam! Only an hour from TC and plenty of places to stock up for needs along the way. Loved it.

I’m so grateful for my time at Hill Camp. It felt like a dream waking up every morning as the sun rose over meadows full of aster and goldenrod. Sue and Allen were warm and kind and gave me great tips for places to check out, including an Amish bakery nearby! At night, you can see the Milky Way and hear full convos between owls and katydids and even (I think!) coyotes. During hunting season, you might periodically hear gun shots in the distance, but only during the day. In terms of amenities, the port-a-potty is very close, and if you need access to a sink or electricity, they have both at their cute little greenhouse down the way. This was my first time camping at a farm, and I can’t wait to come back and do it all over again 🥹🌾✨

Joyce was a lovely host and met us when we arrived. Her camping area was flawless and scenic. She provided very kind small touches and the environment was relaxing. We used her site as a stop over during a longer trip but would certainly recommend for a family just wanting to bond and spend a quiet weekend outside together. We have dogs and had the luxury of letting them frolic off leash because we had the place to our selves. There is a small county highway fully out of sight and you can only slightly hear vehicles.

Loved our stay. It was a great escape for all of us. The what we assume is a dry creek was fun to wonder up as well as the paths I do warn that if you have a lower car you will have to park at the top of the hill and walk everything down to the site but its worth it.
