Camp sites also have fire rings with wood available for you to use. Campers are welcome to use any wood that's on the ground near or around your site. Camp sites can be accessed with a high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle or walk up the hill to your site. With easy access down to the river, by walking or driving, you can cool off in the beautiful Cow Pasture River. Weekend Trip to Olde Tyme Cabins

The location was perfect! We felt secluded in our little camp and were able to hike up the hillside nearby. We loved the campfire with the lights strung around, and there were roasting sticks in one of the RV cubbies. The hot tub was amazing. We did get rained out of the hot tub, since there is no awning over it, but once the rain stopped, we were able to enjoy again. The master bed was comfortable, and the bunk beds have a curtain to keep lights out for later sleepers. We camped in mid-November and stayed warm and cozy the whole time. Our only complaint was the water. It never quite worked well enough to shower, and washing dishes was frustrating. We did let our hosts know, and they came quickly to work on it, which helped for a short while, but didn't last the duration.

So calming and a good place to sleep! We were just spending the night but would be a great place to spend a weekend. Sweet cats greet you, also ducks and chickens. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available. Enclosed bathroom with shower and toilet inside. Great little diner down the road! Just be advised there is no signal there or the surrounding area. The wifi works well for the TV but not great for cellphones.

Weekend Trip to Camp Holly

My friends and I had a great time at Cabin 3! The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries, and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin can comfortably fit more than four people and still has plenty of space to move around. Both the indoor and outdoor bathrooms were clean. It’s the best place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to MountainTop

Upon entering the first gate I really like the open horse field. After that it was really cool to cross the stream and drive up to where the Cabin itself is located. We loved how small the Cabin was while also having everything you could need. We also enjoyed walking out on the back deck every morning and seeing the pond. One morning it rained and the sounds were beautiful. The bunk beds and couch were super comfy for sleeping each night. Will definitely be back to enjoy the peaceful, relaxing, quiet vibe of the place.

Looking for a unique getaway? I highly recommend yurt camping! My recent trip was fantastic. The yurt was incredibly private, giving us a true sense of being out in nature without sacrificing comfort. It was also very well-supplied and had everything we needed, which made packing and planning so much easier. The yurt and the surrounding area were spotless and super clean, and the whole experience was just plain fun. It's the perfect mix of rustic adventure and cozy relaxation. The place is AMAZING (with capital letters) my family and I we had a great time! Everything was well detailed on the welcoming package but still Ed communicated to make sure it was all clear. If you want to spend some quality vacation, this is the place!

Weekend Trip to Olde Tyme Cabins

Great little spot in the woods! Yurt was very comfortable with soft mattress, microfiber sheets included! The yurt has electricity, lots of games available, a firepit, with a bundle of dry firewood. The deck is large and has a sink with running water near the side and table. Tiki torches are available, if it hasnt just rained, they work and theres a lot of tiki torche oil. The host was nice and brought over some extra hanging lights and check in to make sure we were all good. Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Ed's Mt retreat, our kids and our dog loved the pond with a dock and a floating raft for swimming and boating . Ed's cabin was well stocked and very comfortable for example full kitchen and air conditioning. The Wi Fi was much appreciated to stay in touch with family members that stayed at home and a workaholic husband that needed to put in a few hrs of work. The location of the cabin was super quiet as the property is set back from the main road. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely Phenomenal! The vies are beautiful and breathtaking. Michelle is welcoming and makes sure all of your needs are covered. I will be staying here every time I visit the area. Outstanding service with an unforgettable view of the surroundings.

Weekend Trip to Olde Tyme Cabins

Beautiful part of West Virginia. The site was very secluded and had everything we could want. The yurt was HUGE! Plenty of room inside the tent. The outhouse was well maintained. The hot shower was great! Our dogs loved the freedom of not being on a leash.

Weekend Trip to Camp Holly

Just what we needed! The cabin was well stocked and tidy, and the owners were so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. Our group booked a tent site and a cabin. The kids swam in the pond all day! We kayaked and used paddle boards. The stream behind us was so peaceful and we even hung out and kept cool in it. The sites are well shaded so we weren’t too hot. There is a local general store within walking distance that has just about anything you forgot! We are hoping to come back next year.
