The Perfect Cold Weather Getaway
We had a great stay at the cozy Spruce Knob cabin. The mountain is beautiful and full of easily accessible sights. The peak of Spruce Knob was pretty magical while we were there -- it felt like driving up into a winter diorama, everything dusted and coated in snow, so peaceful and serene. It felt so nice to descend down the mountain after exploring the frosty peak, to settle into the warm cozy little cabin. Perfect cold weather getaway. Would definitely book this property again.

Amazing views to feed your spirit.
What an incredible spot. The land is well cared for and the views are to die for. The cabin itself is comfy and well adorned with everything you need for a rustic stay. There are plenty of maps with information about the attractions nearby but if you want to just hang out at the cabin, it's perfect for that too.
Would recommend to couples and single travelers.

Lives up to the hype!
The tiny house's views are indeed lovely! The entire area is just stunning. The house feels quite separate from the world, although there's easy access to a couple country stores just a few minutes away, and a larger town more like 35-40 minutes. The hosts were great -- stocked us with plenty of water and firewood (for a small fee). Overall, a very relaxing, quiet weekend. Bring a lantern or two, though!

The time spent at Little House was very relaxing in a perfect setting, The view was spectacular and the accommodations just as advertised, We really enjoyed breakfast at the picnic table with the cows mooing in the background. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

Amazing girlfriend trip!
Such an amazing property and easy "camping trip". We got all the great parts of camping with shelter from the cold and rain. They have literally anything you might need so really don't worry about bringing anything. I didn't realize they'd even have camping chairs. I over packed! I will definitely be back and your should definitely go!

Love this cabin
This is our third time at the cabin. It is so amazing. We love the forrest and the mountain. The cabin is clean, comfortable and has everything we needed. We feel very relaxed there. The Spruce mountain is a hidden gem. The Seneca creek trail is amazing. We hope to go back this Fall again.

Picture Perfect Getaway
The stay in this tiny house was exactly what i was looking for: scenic, isolated, and comfortably "off the grid". The hosts definitely prepared for any needs with the place stocked with all manner of utilities (dish soap in case it was forgotten, bug repellent candles and the like). The summer nights were spectacular, with a lush country sky and a gorgeous array of fireflies in the wildgrowth. If you're looking to get away from your phone for a bit and just decompress, this house is a great option!

Charming Glamping Cabin-Explore WV
We had an excellent time staying at this cute cabin for our honeymoon! It was the perfect spot to unplug, unwind, and enjoy nature. We cooked over the fire, hung out in our hammocks, and explored the local hikes like Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. Both were close by and made for great day trips.

Beautiful and Comfortable
The tiny house is cute and incredibly comfortable (especially the bed, which is so very comfortable!), but the view really steals the show. And the location cannot be beat. This area of West Virginia is gorgeous, so beautiful it was hard to keep my eyes on the road. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an easy camping experience, or comfortable access to great hiking, or just wants to get away for a few days. Be aware that there will be zero cell service, and that you will have to walk about 30 yards away from the tiny house to get close enough to the wi-fi signal from the hosts' house.

Just what we needed
The Brunks were wonderful and inviting! You have your own space up the hill from their house (less than a minute walk from where you park your car) but they are there and happy to help whenever you need anything. I would suggest for those staying more than a few days like us to bring a camping wagon to help bring your stuff to the cabin (you'll thank me later :P).
I simply cannot say enough how great this place is: the view, the peace, the friendliness...you will not regret your stay here.

Great views and location
We really enjoyed staying at the tiny house. The location was great for exploring Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. The house was cute, clean, and comfortable with a really awesome view of a valley and ridge. We enjoyed cooking our dinners over the fire pit and on the camp stove that was provided.

Beautiful quiet cabin vacation
It is an amazing cabin and we had a wonderful vacation. The hosts are very communicated and gave us helpful tips. The check in is so easy. The location is perfect for a getaway. The area is so quiet, so beautiful and so conveniently located in the beautiful Spruce mountain. The road conditions are excellent (even to go to Spruce lake) for a normal car. The forrest are lush and the trails are so well maintained. Love the place. I hope to go back with family and friends.

Get away from it all!
Absolutely breathtaking views, we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out and having a meal by the bench and by the fire pit. Perfect get away from the city. The place is super clean and has all the basic things we needed. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The compost toilet is easy to use and does not smell. The Brunks family are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. If you are looking to get away from city life and looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Many hiking trails and activists close drive away. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could stay longer. We definitely would like to come back.

Beautiful area, comfy cabin!
Absolutely beautiful, off-grid cabin in the middle of WV wilderness. The views were amazing, and at night it's completely silent. The cabin was super cozy and had creative solutions to keep it off-grid. We really enjoyed the local sites and community. A great weekend trip from DC! There's no cell reception in the area, so make sure you write down any info you might need.
