We are located 10 minutes from the interstate and Winterplace Ski Resort and just 20 minutes from New River Gorge State Park. Corn hole boards, swings, campsite cookers and chairs are provided.
Want to see 5 star panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains? This ultra-safe, ultra-private property is located only 10 minutes off interstate 77. There is only one farm past ours so road traffic is very minimal. Plenty of room to do what you and your pets want to do while exploring our 60 acres. The sun rises up behind the view and lets you see just a little further. It is nothing short of amazing. The sunrises are always different and some are the most beautiful you have ever seen. The mornings sunrise and the stars out here on a clear night are two of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walks, you can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features chairs, a bench, a swing and a camp cooktop that is fueled by your campfire. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The local area has lots to do. Several National Parks, rivers and trails. - What do we mean by "RUSTIC" ?
The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it).
- CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees.
- SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to.
- RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours. Please be patient and you will receive a response.

- Feel free to wander through the herb gardens, eat your meals in the garden pavilion (we have picnic tables there and hammocks), get your Zen on in the meditation hut , and stroll through the woodland medicine path where we grow endangered and at at risk plant plants. (heads up.. the woodland medicine path goes to seed by the Fall and is usually munched down by the deer by then, but is still a nice short stroll in the woods).

For a more rustic experience, Kolb Field offers a peaceful spot along Coon Creek, shaded by a majestic walnut tree. You’re also welcome to camp almost anywhere on the property to find your perfect spot.
A lightly traveled public dirt road runs through our property. While an SUV or 4x4 is recommended, regular cars can access the site, and we have parking for standard vehicles. Please check with us in advance if you plan to bring an RV. Our farm is a great destination for overland camping—perfect for getting your truck a little dirty!
We are cautiously dog-friendly. Our farm dogs patrol the property to protect our free-roaming animals, so visiting dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable around other animals. If you're unsure about compatibility, please reach out for advice. Our dogs will come to your camp to "check you out". If your dog has a problem with other dogs that are new to them you must let us know so we can control our dogs. We have had people come with problem dogs and not tell us so, we are asking for a $1 extra that we now require as a pet fee.
While you're here, visit our local businesses in Gassaway. At Bigfoot Braxxie's Bikes, you can rent a bike and explore the 40-mile Elk River Rail Trail. Trailhead Farm Meats & More offers our farm-raised, all-natural meats and other local products.

- What do we mean by "RUSTIC" ?
The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it).
- CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees.
- SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to.
- RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours. Please be patient and you will receive a response.

A lightly traveled public dirt road runs through our property. While an SUV or 4x4 is recommended, regular cars can access the site, and we have parking for standard vehicles. Please check with us in advance if you plan to bring an RV. Our farm is a great destination for overland camping—perfect for getting your truck a little dirty!
We are cautiously dog-friendly. Our farm dogs patrol the property to protect our free-roaming animals, so visiting dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable around other animals. If you're unsure about compatibility, please reach out for advice. Our dogs will come to your camp to "check you out". If your dog has a problem with other dogs that are new to them you must let us know so we can control our dogs. We have had people come with problem dogs and not tell us so, we are asking for a $1 extra that we now require as a pet fee.
While you're here, visit our local businesses in Gassaway. At Bigfoot Braxxie's Bikes, you can rent a bike and explore the 40-mile Elk River Rail Trail. Trailhead Farm Meats & More offers our farm-raised, all-natural meats and other local products.

Wake up to a hot cup of coffee and fresh chicken eggs to eat on the griddle. Enjoy the scenery in a queen size bed with beautiful sunshine in the morning that breaks through the trees. Weekend Trip to Casita Of LOVE (Panhandle WV)
Pablo and Lorena were great! Very hospitable and we had a wonderful nite in their Tree of Love. Enjoyed a walk along their road and got to take a quick dip in the Cacapon. Perfect spot if you’re in the Berkeley Springs area.

Weekend Trip to Casita Of LOVE (Panhandle WV)
Pablo and Lorena were extremely accommodating during our stay at the casita of love! The tree house stay are was so charming. The beds were comfortable and the lights in the cabin created a very cozy environment. Sitting out and having dinner by the fire pit was definitely a highlight. Pablo & Lorena were very welcoming & made sure we were comfortable even offering extra blankets for a cooler night. Overall it was a great place to stay off the beaten path for our weekend trip out to Berkeley springs!

Ralph was waiting for us at the top of the hill. Excellent host. Loved all the animals on his farm. Clarabell is the best donkey… great private spot to camp and fish, kayak or just explore. Can’t wait to come back again.

The site was clean upon arrival and even though the site is right off the road, there is still plenty of land that makes it feel secluded. We came during early spring so the trees were still winterized, but we will definitely be going back during the summer when it’s green and full. The blue lake was beautiful and was amazing for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Also, the owners are super friendly. We will definitely be visiting again!

20 ft truck camper
If your looking for a nice, primitive campsite thats right on the Greenbrier bike trail then look no further. It comes equipped with a detached communal shower house and an outhouse at the moment. I believe they started work on bathrooms as well. The Greenbrier river runs parallel with the bike trail as well. Good spot to kayak. I camped for 3 days and had a great time. Very peaceful campsite.

Three nights at this secret spot were just what we wanted. Peaceful quiet. Beautiful birdsong. Delicious air. Privacy. What a find! Our family of four plus our mountain dog. The dog enjoyed his freedom although he sticks close to us regardless. The mountainous windy road was an
adventure all by itself! Amazing views. We were often above the clouds. Not too far from the new river gorge park. A little drive. We had hiking adventures galore and got to return to our serene spot . Loved it.

We really enjoyed staying here! It is the perfect place to car or tent camp. The host was very accommodating and respectful of our privacy. The bathhouse is an absolute beauty! The property is nicer than in the pictures. Impressive work Dad and son! There was a hose to spray our pups off before the ride home, a dish washing station plus ice cold spring water. It was everything we needed for our short road trip! Thank you for allowing us to stay on your property.

I really loved camping at this campground. The price was great, the bathroom/shower facilities were well maintained, and the trails were awesome. I didn't stay when the restaraunt was open, but i really enjoyed everything else. I also loved the goats. I hope to make my way back here!

Arrowhead Bike Farm and Campground is a great place to spend the night or a couple of days. As the name suggests they have lots of bikes and biking opportunities. The sites are well maintained and clean. The RV sites are situated in the middle of the action and close to both the bathhouse and the kitchen. The tent sites offer more privacy. The area was very quiet and peaceful overnight.

Jonah was an awesome host! The property is gorgeous and if you're lucky enough to experience the phenomenon, the creeks running down the property lines combined with the wind in the hollow sounds like the waves at the shoreline. Where to go
Potomac Highlands
Winding mountain roads and backcountry hiking trails lead the way through the Allegheny Mountains and the Monongahela National Forest in eastern West Virginia. Four-season adventures await at Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley Resort State Park, which harbor some of the region’s best ski slopes, while rock climbers congregate at Seneca Rocks. Further east, Harpers Ferry is the gateway to the Appalachian Trail and home to the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.
